Curious who would be picked as having the best pro career.

you had HOF's like YA tittle, steve van buren, jimmy taylor

current tigers who seem destined for HOF (mawae, faneca)

well known stars (bert jones, tommy casanova)

I would have to say Faneca. He should go down as one of the best guards in NFL history.

Moden day def Faneca. Universaly thought of as best guard in league for 5-6 years, during middle of his career,HOF lock. Mawae multiple pro-bowler borderline HOF.

I would say a Toss-up between these two, but Faneca will be a future Hall of Famer, & go down as the best Tiger in the pros over the last 40 years.

I had classes with Mawae while at LSU....and I'm getting freakin old now. I can't fathom how he is still going in the league.

If his life had not been cut short, I believe Big E would be in with Faneca and Mawae

Gotcha. He was on his way.

I'm just a bit young to remember much of his playing days, though.

Jim Taylor is as good a overall football player as you'll ever see, hard to go against him.

Y.A. Tittle all time, but probably Faneca in modern day NFL.

Modern Day:

A. Faneca,
Kevin Mawae,
Kevin Faulk,
E. Martin,
D. Hilliard,
B. McFarland,
Todd McClure,
B. James,
Devery Henderson,
Joseph Addai,
Dwayne Bowe,
Randall Gay,
Gabe Northern,
Jarvis Green,
Andrew Whitworth,
Kenny Mixon,
Corey Webster and
Wade Richey

Johnny Nolan Robinson (Safety)

Played 12 years in NFL for Dallas Texans then Kansas City Chiefs...57 Interceptions...18 Touchdowns

I'm a little biased because he's a good friend of my family, he was nominated for the HOF but didn't get in.
