Which tempo approach do you prefer vs Alabama?

The warp speed LSU went with early on which appeared to allow LSU to name its score but that tilted TOP to the opponent and may have worn out the defense or the current version that bleeds the play clock more, scores less but possesses the ball longer allowing the defense to rest?

I hope we see both (even within the same drive) and keep them off balance all game long.

I think we’ll see a mixture of tempo and ball control, so the defense is always on their heels.

Mix it up. If we're up coming out after halftime, pull the throttle back and break it off early in the third.

It all depends on the game situation, but we'll probably see the hurry up sometime during the game.

heels*

and yes, I agree. We need to go ball control then snap into warp when the time is right and vice versa. That is how we dominate the rhythm of the game.

He does fricking loathe up-tempo that doesn't allow his defense to sub out new players.

Grinds his gears realllllll hard.

ALWAYS up tempo.

bamas strength has always been depth, and the ability to get fresh players in each play. If we up tempo and wear em down, they get tired quickly.

If we upped tempo even with Miles we could’ve beaten that team.

Defense should be in better shape and it is not 95 degrees anymore.

Full throttle.

Warp speed to start when D is fresh to try and get up a few scores. Then adjust as needed.

Let's score 60. If the D needs a rest, just put the 3rd string in for a drive and then match the TD on offense.

I must be a moron too because 8 games into the season that’s the first thing that came to mind.
Honestly I don’t dwell on LSU losing 8 straight. New year, new game.

We win if we keep their offense off the field. I’m sure that’s the plan for both teams. A mixture of tempo. If we have them on their heels then warp speed in moments.
