I loved Freeman's response to being the first black coach to play in the natty. Saying race doesn't matter, only merit. I hope he wins it all.
Plus it'd be really funny to see Ryan Day choke and it absolutely would put Kelly under a microscope. I'm assuming some of those golf days will turn into film sessions if ND wins.

This argument was fine a month ago. But Ole Miss, LSU, and Bama wouldn't be in the championship game today. None of those teams were consistent enough to win 3 consecutive playoff games
