Jamarcus, after he held out on the NFL deal just to get more money, I lost a lot of respect for him. Yea he can throw a ball far, but he cant hit the open man.
This thread is fan-freakin-tastic.

I wish them all well. I usually pull for the guys who tranferred such as RP. I hope he has a great season amd signs a big contract. Most of all I hope he has matured/learned from his mistakes.

thats not why he held out, try to learn a little about the situation before you make a fool out of yourself. Al Davis was trying to take out clauses that every single #1 pick has had for about 20 years (most 1st rounders get them now)
Then why did he hold out for so long, it was all over espn, just another garbage quarterback trying to squeeze every penny he could

Big Baby. There's no crying in basketball.

but if that is the case why isn't David LeFluer(sp?) on anyone's list.

Don't remember the injuries, just remember, for some reason he forgot how to catch a football when he got to Dallas. I'd still pull for him.

Did you really just say Shaq isnt very talented when it comes to Basketball? LOL that is one of the most ridiculous things i have ever heard. Show me another person above 7 feet tall that was athletic as shaq in his younger years
I said basketball talent for a reason, can he shoot free throws well? Can he shoot anything outside of 5 feet well? Is he a great passer? No. If he was 6'9", would he still be as good? If you honestly think yes, we can't really continue on with the discussion. He's a great NBA player because of his size, it was in his genes, that's not talent, sorry.

I have to admit, you are correct in each point you bring up, but he does something to the team. every team he goes to he gets a ring. The Cavs will have a ring soon.

He's a better passer than most people give him credit for. Not great.. but still descent.

Shaq is a fantastic passer and has a high basketball iq. He is able to recognize double teams and make the necessary pass. His footwork for someone his size is absolutely amazing.

he wanted the skill clause in his contract
Davis wanted to change the way rookie contracts are made, at JR's expense

he's the #1 pick, they obviously didn't think he was a garbage QB (actually the best QB in CFP in 2006)

Why pass when there were only two or three men in the league who could defend him??? Although I agree that he is a better passer than most give him credit for.

Well I'm just saying he never impressed me, at LSU or NFL.

Stick to baseball which you know a little something about. You have no frickin' clue about basketball. His athleticism, presence in the lane, rebounding, defense. Hell I don't have to go on. That was just a stupid frickin' statement.
