Funny how you clipped out the first part of my statement that clearly reads “SINCE 2000” but hey whatever fits your narrative bud

Recency bias clouds judgment on this one, but GA is a solid comp

It's obviously Florida. Great recruiting ground, historically decent with eras of greatness, lots of recent success, absolute implosion of seasons, and Heisman winner QBs.

**Lsu**. 5 claimed national titles (1908, 1958, 2003, 2007, 2019)

1908 Tigers were coached by Edgar Wingard, had a 10-0 record and out scored opponents 442. To 11.

For a long time the Tiger battle cry was “1908 and next year”.
They competed as members of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Association.

The 1908 National Champioship Championship is recognized by the NCAA and by the National Championship Foindation.

Seems like Florida when it comes to most sports, but LSU is pretty unique in a great way.

Not really.

LSU v. Ohio State

LSU does have the edge on bowl victories, though.

Was thinking about this the other day.

Penn State is kinda comparable.

It is a program with great history.

Great to Elite in the modern Age

Great Uniforms.

Has had trouble consistently getting to the very top of their league despite having very good teams with Ohio State standing in the way similar to our situation with Alabama

You have added since 2000. I'm talking about the program's history, which I stated in the OP. It's funny how you want to cherry-pick only. lsu fans can't include the 90's I realize lol

I always think of Auburn.

They will randomly go undefeated and win a national championship out of nowhere.

They have won and lost on very fluke plays

Auburn has 1 nati since 2000. LSU has 3. LSU is usually better than Auburn especially this century. That's short changing.

Georgia I would say is better comparison. LSU was better than Georgia from 2000 to 2017 I'd say. Now UGA is better than LSU besides 2019.

Overall a comparable program.

LSU and Clemson would be pretty good resemblence.

Those are only 2.
