Damnit stop this argument. Anyone who’s says anything other than 2019 is full of shite. They’re lying to themselves and to everyone. It’s 2019 by a large margin then 03 then 07.

2003 probably because I wasn't sure if I'd ever get to experience one.

Never forget the first time vs Okla,

I cried in 2003 and I was only 13 years old. I thought there was no chance we could beat that oklahoma team. I idolized that 03 team for years watching highlights of Clayton, green, mauk, JV, Webster, Chad fricking Lavalais and co.
07 was such a guarantee. Everybody knew we backed into the ship but also knew we’d wash Ohio state. Hell of a crazy season
2019. What reallt can you say that hasn’t been said. Greatest team ever and I was in Tuscaloosa for what is probably the best moment in my lsu fandom history

19.
07 was such a rollercoaster season, but I was certain that if we were selected we would win easy. After the FG Block, we did.
I never thought Clemson would be out of the game until the clock hit 0:00 and we were in the lead, and it wasn't out of question until late in the 4th. It was bigger.

2007.... the way the team battled back several times. Matt Flynn waiting his turn, Hester and the 4th down runs against UF.
Miles is my favorite HC at LSU. (By far not the best, but my favorite). His "Have a great day" moment before the SECG is legendary.
2019- Was the best college football team assembled in history though.

I still think the 1908 championship was the best!
But on a serious note, the 2003 championship put us back on the map after the long drought from 1958, so that would be my choice...almost!!
I have to go with 2019 as the best! First time I ever watched an LSU season and felt confident we would win every game- I think the players had the same attitude- they had the talent, desire and will to win!
My biggest sadness is that my dad passed away and missed that magical 2019 team!

That is like picking your favorite child, but I have an answer.
I was at all three games in the Superdome and celebrated in the French Quarter well in to the morning all three times. They were all thrilling.
The biggest thrill and the biggest celebration? I hate not to say 2019, but in all honesty, I would have to go with the first one after the 2003 season. I had been going to the games for 37 years waiting for that to happen.

Probably has a lot to do with how old you are. For my dad it was the 1958 Natty. For me, it was the 2003 Natty! First time in 45 years, And I had been going to LSU games since the early 70’s. (My Dad has had season tickets since 1960). I can vividly remember being so Happy! Partied with my brother in the Quarter until we caught a live shot of Matt Williams @5am on Bourbon St!

1958. I was 11 at the time. We had just moved back to BR in time for the season opener. We went to all the home games. My first view of the gold and white uniforms, forming three big circles. White Team, the Go Team, and the mighty Chinese Bandits.
Good Times

Serious question. How old are you? Do you remember Stovall, Archer, Curly and DiNardo?

The 2003 game I was 36, It was definitely the most awesome event I ever went to. I soaked it up with my 2 boys 14 & 19. Nothing else has ever compared. We all 3 went again for 07 & yes I was very happy but I remember at the game thinking about how great it was but nothing like the first one. I guess it was like sex ?
In 2011 I was downtown NOLA didn't go to the game because I was so pissed we had to play bama after we won the supposed " Game of the Century" I really didn't care. I mean yes I wanted to win but as far as I was concerned We Were the Best Team hands down.
2019 What a year, I never saw a team mesh and just keep getting better and better until... I just witnessed the greatest football team to ever play ! Not in person, coulda gone, shoulda gone, cussed the whole game with my boys (both in there 30s me in my 60s) that we should have been there. Even though I would love to have gone to that game I still think 03 the first NC of my life was the one that still brings tears...but they were all awesome !

All if them but the feeling after ‘03 coming from never even experiences a winning season as a student was amazing.
The most dramatic and stressful was of course 2007. For that reason it’s also the most fun to reminiscent about. Not just LSU’ s season.. the entire landscape was just wild and unpredictable. Colleges Football is pretty boring now...3/4 of the bracket is pretty much a given before a single game is played.
07 was must see TV every weekend. That’s how sports should be.
