You ever used twitter? Its not easy to make tweet a complete statement using the queen's English.

Yes it is. It's really easy to form complete correct sentences in 140 characters.

It just requires a firm grasp of the english language

And I don't think all of the misspellings were related to brevity anyway.

I'll have to take another look.

Yeah. I'm sure millions of people were tuned into JP Sports on the west coast at 9:30 in the morning.

But again, LSU is an academic institution. How could booing fans possibly be more of an embarrassment when we don't even know if they attended or currently attend?

Very few people will read the tweets. Everyone watching the SEC Network heard the booing, and I'd put money on ATH talking about it Monday.

I'll by that

But what does it have to do with the University as an academic institution?

100% chance the players are students

Who knows if the booing fans even went to LSU?

And booing isn't necessarily a sign of poor education.

its twitter, not a fricking supreme court dissent.

Why should anybody care about the grammar/spelling in a internet post? Seriously? I just I can't even understand the process that goes into such a thought.

I get that. But I'm also not going to pretend that these guys were making 28 on the reading comprehension and grammar portions of the ACT.

My mother is 81 and she says "uh huh."

She has a BA in Education and made A's in Physics while being the wife and mother of 5 children under the age of 8. (I corrected my own typo).

Stupid and uneducated she is not, just like these people.

They don't care if their tweets aren't gramatically correct or about spelling.

Generally I don't. And I'm sure you could look through my posting history and find numerous instances of poor grammar and spelling.

But nothing that terrible. These are college students. They sound like 13 year old pregnant girls updating their facebook account talking about how their man is a piece of shite.

I am not sure if this is what happened, but lets say that the Lowry guy was all drunk and being aggressive towards his ex and other females and one of the players says something to him about laying off the girls and he reacts causing a brawl. Do you consider that an embarrassment?

I am not saying that I think this is what happened, I am just curious if your opinion would change if you knew for a fact it all started because a football player was protecting some girl?

I figured after you started this thread hence, that was your original thought. Did you go to LSU for that matter?

Everyone was saying that the restraining order was issued on Lowery after the bar fight. While true, it was in the works days before the fight, the judge just took his time signing off on it.

Had the RO been signed before the bar fight, it is probably likely that the Lowery part of the fight wouldn't have happened because he would have been arrested for being near his ex-g/f.

Great win today!!!! Guys played no where near to par and won.

What can we complain about now. Every team has those type of fans. Get over it and let's enjoy the win and let the guys enjoy.

But it's a point that just cancels itself out when most athletes/players for not only college teams but also professional teams. It's simply how it is I wouldn't say it embarrasses our university at all.
