This is about as offseason as threads get...but we all know the worst years of LSU football were under Curley Hallman in the early 90's, yet for a lot of folks my age (late 20's/early 30's) this was about the time in our youth when we became die hard fans.

Hypothetically if you could transplant one of the QB's into the 2015 offense, who, with our current skill players, do you think could play just well enough to help us make a run at Atlanta?

Loup?

Daigle?

Howard?

Thoughts?

Howard. He wasn't calling the plays against Auburn.

how about Howard once dinardo took over? He came out hot early in '95, but then got hurt.

Definitely believe Jamie Howard could have been a lot like AJ McCarron under the right play calling.

Howard or Loup would give us a shot.

Howard and Amedee (sp) could have been special. Hallman was a joke riding his BAMA ties and Brett Favre success to the LSU top job.

How much fun would it be to have Tommy Hodson running this years offense.

It would be awesome until he threw one interception, when every post Saban-era fan in Tiger Stadium would be booing him and calling for him to be benched immediately.

It all depends. Would he be our starting QB, or our back up? As the starter your statement is true. However, if he was the back up then he would be the second coming of John Elway and he could do not wrong.

daigle was an athlete playing qb

chad had the mentality, dedication and smarts to run any offense, lack of athleticism would have been overshadowed by the former

Jamie had the all pro cannon but the mentality of a 18 yr old immature kid, was not really a student of the game and him & hallman did not like each other.

loup commanded the respect of the O including the line, howard did not.

if not for the AU game that season and CH career at LSU would have gone very different

What does that have to do with anything???

Curley was the worst hire in LSU HISTORY............... He got the job cause he was able to beat Bama a couple times while at So.Miss..... Those teams were horrible..........And he was a total jerk the whole time he was here..........

You dont have to tell me. Growing up going to those games my dad and uncle instilled in me an absolute hatred for Curley on the way he treated my family
