Why are you so fired up for them to miss a game? Are there other punishments available to LM besides causing them to miss the game and hurt the program? What if he punishes them and you do not hear about it? I am guessing that it is not real punishment unless he does it for all the world to see.

Integrity in this situation is getting ALL the facts before dishing out a suitable punishment. There is no hard and fast rule that says he has to do it right now. If LM decides to bench them for a few games I see no reason to do till just before the game...and yes I believe you can win and have integrity. I also believe we can win with JJ, Lee, or Met at QB.

I have tried to read most of the postings on this topic. I have listened to Coach Miles' press conference. My wife even asked me if I was disappointed.
I have been called an old timer but although it has been a while since I was a student I can still recall my crawls on Chimes Street. I would be the supreme hypocrite to condemn someone for breaking curfew when I too have committed the same sins Regardless if I actually realized it at the time, I subjected myself to a world of consequences. By the grace of God, I was not caught.
No, I was not at the off campus bar this past week and no, I did not see anything that happened. I can not in good judgement suggest that a single member of LSU's football team was involved in any manner in the incident that is garnering so much attention. I realize that it all boils down to he said she said and peoples opinions. Opinions are like a-- holes. We all have one and most stink. I am not accusing or passing judgement on anyone.
What I was trying to say regarding Integrity is that Coach Miles is going to have to make some difficult decisions to protect the integrity of the entire team. If some members are wrongfully punished, it is an unfortunate situation.

But this much I do know. The four athletes do not deny that they broke curfew and each of them have been accused by multiple sources as being involved in an altercation. As far as I am concerned, the reasons of their involvement is inconsequential. I do not care if they had racial slurs spoken to them. I do not care if the alleged victims may or not have provoked them in any way. In makes no difference if the alleged victims attempted to run anyone over with their vehicles. The prevailing fact remains, if those young men (football players) were where they were supposed to be (in their respective rooms) none of it would have happened. Friday morning they did not have the grace of God. They did get caught. Yes from what is being ranted and discussed the four young men were not the only football players to sneak out of curfew.
I realize that in order to be a scholarship player on the Number 4 ranked team in America, you have to be a very gifted athlete. I realize that each one of my beloved Tigers have had smoke blown up their respective asses on how special they were from the time their Uncle Chester or Aunt Tea gave them their first football when they were yet four years old. Their belief that they are somehow *different than other people" is burned into their DNA. Frankly I can not blame them for that. This past week the real world caught up with them. They now know they really are not that special after all. Yes they should cry. They have let a lot of good people down. Regardless if anyone one of them are suspended and regardless how well their future football careers may be, they shall always be remembered not as leaders but fools.

I think have complete faith in Coach Miles to do the appropriate thing.

Yeah...Katy Tiger...your right. Miles has never been honest, his players have never been honest, and the Miles years have been terrible!. Are you freakin' kidding me? I get so sick of people wanting LSU to win, but if they win the way "the fans" want us to win...then Miles is an idiot. Is he quirky, even wierd to an extent...hell yes. And that is one of the things I like about him. Little Nicky had problems with players here and there and one a national title, but didn't win as much as Miles. He does a good job, won a title, and is good man and coach. Is he the best coach around....maybe not, but tell me who is.
Get over this thing with Miles being sold on JJ...don't you think if there was a BETTER choice, that he would not be selling JJ so hard....have you been to practice???

Integrity, because without that winning means nothing. Because if you cheated, you really didn't win, you cheated. No other answer.

Sorry, I didn't read that TOTAL BS. You do know the coaches KNEW the players were going to break curfew right? WOW, you need to lighten up dude.

Fact: Breaking Curfew + Fighting = Suspension Regardless

DO you know with that rule Mac would have NEVER fielded a TEAM, EVER ! LOL. Almost every night in the white horse, some football player would get into a fight, and beat the HELL out of some guy. LOL,

No matter what anyone says about JJ, I don't think there is anything in his character that would indicate he would kick the hell out of someone when they were on the ground if they didn't deserve it. I'm not even close to knowing him personally, but he doesn't seem like the Perrilloux type.

That being said, I wish there was some way to figure out how and why this happened, to form a real opinion on whether they should play or not. Be creative, imagine what some guy could have told one of those 4 guys to make them that mad...it's not hard to imagine.

Having both is what makes you special. Saban would have nailed these boys' nuts to a pine tree. Then again, I am not sure that Saban would have seriously recruited JJ.

Integrity. It's a school. These are young men. Life lessons need to be learned now.
