NO, But I gaurantee LES knows enough to do what needs to be done. You are just a homr and want JJ in for the The Ducks game and then IF we are gonna do anything lets do it for the NW st game. A SHAME if you feel this way.

No reason you can't do both. For the most part LSU does. Hopefully this is just temporary black eye.

Winning or Integrity?
Winning all day long.
Short of a player murdering somone, raping someone, or beating up a girl IDGAF. I always say this, but I'll say it again....when you buy NC t-shirts, they only say "'(insert year here) National Champions" on them, they don't have suspension/arrest records on them.

the program is more than these 4 players.
make the right call Les, these 4 players are NOT LSU football. They are a part of the tradition of LSU football. Letting them play cheapens that tradition.

This is a false dichotomy, in my opinion. They aren't mutually exclusive. I want an athletic director, coach, and players who ensure both.
i could not agree more. one can certainly win with integrity. as to the rest of the post, all situations are not the same; life is not black or white. to crush a kids dreams and ruin his life without serious consideration and pretty damn certain proof of fault is irresponsible.

than you must remember billy cannon, who would lead the team in prayer every game and would never think of fighting or breaking curfew.

Integrity. I started a similar thread on the poli board. I was surprised at how many posters went soft.

Billy Cannon would get drunk and fight the police (especially across the river in Port Allen). And the players would frequent whore houses from New Orleans to Opelousas.

Fact: Breaking Curfew + Fighting = Suspension Regardless

coach pepsodent paul had no clue of this...must be why he's still so revered for winning with integrity.

wow, your inability to recognize changing attitudes on a time line of society is just pathetic.

Miles can decide the appropriate punishment depending on the facts as they actually exist.
Coach Miles should and I feel will make the decision on the appropriate punishment based on facts, not rumors.Having said that,I believe that any of the players involved in the curfew violation or fight that have previously violated team rules should face a suspension because apparently they haven't learned from passed mistakes and set a bad example for young players, particularly. However, the decision is his and I would support his decision because I think he is a man of Integrity.

He cares NOTHING about anything but LSU WINNING. Doesn't matter how. And if LSU ever losses its always the refs fault. As much as he prases Miles, He wants to do what it takes to make sure that JJ is on the field for the Duck game.

You can't win LONGTERM without integrity....

To Skillet. The first LSU game that I ever attended was on October 31, 1959.
I do realize that in this country your are innocent until proven guilty. But I also realize that should these players play after the unfortunate media blitz, it will only confirm the nations perception of us. As someone who lives in Texas, I have grown weary of people saying "Lousy Anna" and calling me a Coon arse. Being a Coon arse is a badge of honor to me but I do not think that their intent is honorable. Suspensions are in order. It is the "smart" thing to do. It is unfortunate that perhaps innocent persons will be hurt. You have really got to be naive to believe that Coach Miles has not already determined what the truth is in this matter. I am sure he will act accordingly.
