1. Dale has been at at least 4 game that I have seen him personally. I spoke with him briefly twice. He has not sat in his seats, though.
2. Dale loves Will Wade. He is a big supporter. To say otherwise is to not know Dale personally.

Dale seemed to have trouble coaching big time talent when he had it.
Dale Brown's resume says he's in the college basketball Hall Of Fame....
Please tell us more about damnedoldtigah's college basketball resume....
After that please continue to suck on Bobby Knight's balls.

Honestly, and with all due respect, IDGAF whether Dale Brown likes WW or not. He and his minions rammed their boy down our throats and WW is fixing that mess and pretty darn quickly.
And he ain't doing nothing Dale didn't in pushing the envelope and quite honestly, knowing what I know of Dale's era, probably not near as much.
So again, whatever the beef, if there is one, I could really care less.

Didn’t realize Dale was that big of a SJW.
Dale was a SJW before the term was even defined. He is very liberal politically and socially, and borders on being a socialist when it comes to the haves/have nots. Several times in his career he took a stand that alienated a portion of the Tiger Nation. Good guy but different.

I had also heard a rumor that Dale was not really happy with Will after all the "stuff" came out last year but it seemed silly to me knowing his background.
It came up because he wasn't there will all his alumni basketball players Saturday. Seemed strange to not have him there. Brady was on the court; why wasn't Dale?
Doesn't seem like him to not be there with his players.

Yeah, if that is true, that's actually comical and ironic.

Probably waiting on the statue ceremony, long overdue due to silly degree requirement.

Dale Brown put LSU basketball back on the map like it never had been. Wise up.

Maraviches built the PMAC, not the man who brought LSU its first Major NCAA Sanction: Dandy Dale Brown. Whether Brown knows it or not, he only fooled FOOLS!!
Educate yourself about Dale Brown before you make more of an arse of yourself than you already have.

If he truly dislikes wade, then it has to be jealousy that he is about to be overshadowed by wades greatness

It would be nice if one of our local journalists or radio personalities would get Brown on (or interview him) and ask him outright.
It’s unfortunate that we’re left to speculate, and/or take the word of someone who may or may not be credible (I don’t know and am not trying to discredit anyone).
I hope it isn’t true that Brown dislikes Wade. If it is, it’s unfortunate and further evidence (as if more was needed) that he and Temple need to be prevented from influencing any type of hires or any other decisions for and about the program.
If Brown has no issue with Wade, I see no reason why he wouldn’t sit down with a reporter or radio host to dispel the rumors and set the record straight.
Silence on this topic speaks louder than empty PR words.

Heard it from pretty good sauces.
(Grey hairs y’all appear to dislike so much)
Bad feelings over wade investigations.
I sorta think along lines of others.... a little jealous of WW taking control of the program.
Has changed my opinion of DB.

See the post above yours. I 100% agree. Blame the investigation but it’s really that he’s taking the program as his own

I’m sure he’ll be there for the UK game when Mahmoud (yes, that’s his name now) has his jersey retired.

I know what I posted earlier ,which was more of a history account than anything else, and mid career at LSU he was quite successful. For those of us who were actually alive and around back then. we know the ups and downs. He did leave too late. In his defense he was more loyal to his players than some of his players were to him. I don't agree with many of his social views, however, he is a good person, with whom I enjoyed meeting him and visiting for a bit.

Spoke to him several times last year and he only had positive things to say about him and the team. Was sitting next to him when Aleva showed up after the Wade suspension and when the students started to chant and taunt he very much enjoyed it
