He's huge with breakaway speed and solid hands coming from a pro-style offense with limited tread on the tires. The only thing possibly stopping him from being a top 2 back in the draft is the off field stuff.

Hill is really good at the college level once he gets past the line of scrimmage. I don't think he will impress the front offices in the NFL as much as our fans think.

I'll bet someone picks Hill up in the third, but no way he's a first round guy.

He reminds me so much of Jamal Lewis.

I agree that tough yards up the middle are his weakest area.

I just think our fanbase underrates how big of a physical freak Hill is. He's 235 yet runs away from SEC defensive backs. He will destroy the combine, and he has the production in the SEC to back it up.

I know the dude. He is a great back. He will be an OK NFL back. Nothing special.

Mark Ingram is about the worst possible comparison you can make to Jeremy Hill. You're gonna have to do better than that.

Really?? Well he won A Hiesman and was breaking great runs while at Bama, WHY??? Cause Saban knew how to use him right. Did it hurt him for the NFL??? It might have but the dude got 1st round money and 145 yards last Sunday night.

This has nothing to do with Saban vs. Miles. Ingram is a bad comparison to Hill because Hill has elite measurables while Ingram is short and slow. IDGAF about the Heisman and neither do NFL scouts.

Ok. I will say this ONE last time. Hill is a late third round pick. He is NOT even close to an adrien Petersen. He is a good back that will be good in the NFL.

It would be huge for LSU, but probably not smart on his part with the attrition rate regarding RB's. I would love the kid to stay, but he is actually one of the few I can not fault for leaving

Somebody pointed this out already, but Hill owes a lot to LSU for sticking by him despite his troubles. He should return.

Last year YES. This year??? Not so much.

take five minutes and watch all his plays from the Florida game, everything is on display. Speed, vision, power, receiving out the back field, agility, explosion, elusiveness, he has it all. You can say what you want, but he is an NFL starter, if I've ever seen one. Without people looking to attack me, he is very similar to Arian Foster.

quote:

YUP.Like I said he a A great COLLEGE back. He would not be able to do that in the pros. BUT I will say this. He should get 20-25 carries against A & M and should get himself at least 200 yds. That would help his stock

Hill is going to finish this season with at least 1300 rush yards and could actually hit 1400. A 1400 yard 18 TD back with a 6.5 ypc in the SEC will be gone before the 3rd round.

The guy has fumbled one time in 2 years, and he got it back himself.

Name me 3 recent RBs who has stayed around for 5 years in the system and were productive in the NFL within the last 10 years.

Arian Foster played in 11+ games for 4 years in college.

Darren Sproles played in 6 games his freshmen year, and started his soph, junior, and senior year

LaDainian Tomlinson played all 4 years in College

Foster needed to come back to get a high draft grade (what people use to do), then he came back, the offense sucked, and he went undrafted. Went from 1533 yards 14 TDs from scrimmage, to 736 and 1 TD.

No fricking way. He is either pouting or Miles is using him terrible. He is NOT running the same since the Ole Miss game.

The SEC is down this year. Bama shut Hill down in the most important game for him. The NFL is looking for a rb that can catch the ball out of the backfield. Hill is a GREAT college back. Too bad Miles is an idiot and benched him after the fumble at Ole Miss.
