We just can’t have a black hole in the 9 spot for an entire game.

Dugas to 1st, Reid to 3rd. Sub in Hughes to 3rd and Reid to 1st with a late lead.

Easy man I just chugged some Turbodog and am jacked. It’s just that there’s an obvious place for immediate improvement so we can keep fapping.

LSU's starting 3rd basemen who's 1 for his last 31 and hitting around .170 for the year. Meanwhile, his fielding percentage is a paltry .961.

That's a problem.

You do realize Dugas is hitting under .150 since coming back from injury, right?

Dugas has a chance to drive the ball, Hal doesn't.

The complaint is that you won’t be able to say “we won, stop complaining” when it really bites LSU in the arse

Dugas needs to be in the lineup somehow, some way.

Can’t drive it if you can’t hit it, and he ain’t hitting it any better that Hughes right now. Remember you see these guys a few hours during games, the coaching staff sees them every day. I trust their abilities over yours. Thanks tho

Cant drive it if you cant drive it and cant hit it

Neither can hit, but at least Dugas can drive it when contact is made

Dugas has had his chance to show what he can do this year. The super regional is not the time to "see if anything clicks".

He looked promising early, but the last 6 weeks or so he's been absolutely atrocious at the plate, striking out often and rarely even making contact.

Hughes has been bad, but at least he can work the count a bit and make contact.
