They all had outstanding qualities, the 1998 team was tough as nails. Even though they lost at cws, they beat usc in game, won game 2.
The weather shifted and got chilly and they lost back to back games to usc. I think usc went on to beat Az state in finals.

Well in terms of gauntlet of competition faced, this team may be the best by far. SEC play today top to bottom is the best that it’s ever been and then beat #1 and #2 twice to get the Natty while also beating top 10 TN twice.

This team may have more future draftable MLB talent than any of the past as well.

In terms of total dominance as a team in their given year, probably not.
