I'm not doing that at all and I'm sorry if you feel I am. I'm not trying to be rude or a jerk or anything.

I never said there was.

I agree.

It's at least as good, overall, as when he was made the interim HC.

We agree. Program is better off now than when miles left.

It's as good as when he took over.

I don't agree with that. Not with the program overall.

Not worth getting into a big to do over this. It's as good as when he took over, we both agree on that.

By this logic, Miles won the 2019 championship. See how dumb that sounds?

Miles won a title with 2 losses. Weakest title winning season in who knows how long. I celebrated my tail off that night but it is not even comparable to the season that O gave us.

Well there only has been 4 men who have won National Championships at LSU. I would start there…

Miles 2007 team beat #1 soundly for the title. Not sure how anything else mattered.
What if it was a playoff with an 11-2 team winning it all?

There wasn’t one. When is the last time a two loss team won the title? 7 decades ago or what

The injury luck we had the last couple seasons would have sunk better coaches than O. That is for sure. Look at how king dabo is doing this year when forced to play a QB who isn’t ready.

LSU will be 4-5 after next week. When was the last time you think LSU was 4-5 at any point in the season before O got here?

Think about that when you say he's leaving the program in better shape than he found it.

Ok
How many players on the 2 deep are out for the season? And have been out. When you are as unlucky with injury as we have been it is hard to win in SEC.

Especially when the coach is fired mid season. When Woodward quits on the season, everyone else follows suit.

O line was trash. Had to be rebuilt.

Qb was as bad at it has ever been.

It was not good ….

2021 50yds less Total O/gm than 2016? I haven't fact checked, but expect roster loss is worse than 2016.

You can’t compare yards per game across years like that.

We are without

Best Qb
Best RB
best WR
best lineman

You get the point.

Why not? Same coach, same program and injuries happen every year.

“Injuries happen every year”

Sure they do but you are lying if you think what LSU Has had to deal with is anything close to a typical season

The best lineman got booted for marijuana. The best RB was ruled ineligible. That doesn’t happen at programs like Bama who are more committed to winning. Until that changes we will never be on Bama level no matter who the coach is. That is not on O, that is on the higher ups.

Like big Saadiq said, don’t go to LSU if you like to smoke.

It is a competitive disadvantage for us.

Some of our "injuries" are because they don't want to play for his dumb arse. Most players are injured 8 games into the season, it's football, they play through it when they have a competent coach at the helm.

I understand but don't smoke, your payday depends on it. My job has same requirement and not the end of the world.

Best qb - out for the yr two seasons in a row
Best OL - booted for archaic weed policy
Beat RB - ruled ineligible, wojld never happen at other programs who are more committed to winning
Best Wr - season ending injury no matter who the coach is

Try again. All out of the coach’s hand if we being honest.
