Miles
Dietzel
Saban
Wingard
O

Name of the game is championships so anyone who wins one > anyone who doesn't. (We should claim 1908 so I counted it.)

If that's your measure, Miles 3-peated it and added another top 5 finish for good measure.

I would put him at below average for blowing up the program

Then love them or hate them, both Saban and Les should be in the top 3 for winning championships at LSU and leaving the program in good shape when they left. Simple as that.

1 of 4 to win a Natty, best season record and only undefeated season plus Championship, how many coaches have we had, he’s between 4 and that number

O leaves the program in better shape than he found it for sure.

You must not remember the lack of talent at the most important position on the field. Ie the QB position.

It was not good ….

It still looks awful.

On the QB position, I agree with you on that.

He's hardly leaving it better, overall, than when he was handed the keys.

This is textbook case of Recency bias

Recency bias? Not hardly. I'm talking about how the program looked in 2016 when he took over to present. That's his entire time as HC at LSU. Not talking about recent events.

I don't agree with you saying he's leaving it better than when he was made the interim HC.

That's not being biased about anything. If you feel he is, then that's ok too. It's at least as good, overall, as when he was made the interim HC.

The one thing I do agree with is he has improved the QB position, as I mentioned earlier.

Not trying to be a jerk but I don't see him leaving the program in much better shape than when he took over, like it's light years better. Maybe I misunderstood what you were saying. I thought you were talking about the program overall, not just certain areas.

you are overrating how bad it is now because it has just happened so your emotions are tied to it. There is no rebuild at all. Should slot in right behind Bama next season with the right hire. Boat load of talent coming back.

We agree. Program is better off now than when miles left.
