There is a big difference between arms and pitchers. A lot of great arms are lousy pitchers. Poche was an outstanding college pitcher.
Chris cotton comes to mind when you put it like this.

Gausman would be in my Top 10-15 Pichers
My Top 5 would be
1. Ben McDonald
2.Aaron Nola
3.Paul Skenes
4. Lloyd Peever
5. Louis Coleman

He was being compared to guys like Clemens and Gooden.
To me he had similar stuff and mechanics to Gooden.

Coke henry and Landon marceaux were two of the best recent pitchers we’ve had

Kurt Ainsworth was a solid college pitcher. Curious where he ranks all time?

Respectfully, That list omits a ton of Tigers whose LSU performances greatly exceeded Gausman's, many of whom had MLB careers. These include Chad Ogea, Scott Schultz, Mike Sirotka, Lane Mestepey, Curtis Leskanic, Louis Coleman, Paul Byrd, Jared Bradford, and others.
