LSU tried for 3-4 years to get Jimbo to LSU, and couldn't do it. aTm does it in about 2 weeks ... what are we missing, what could we not do that aTm did, why are we not good enough for him? What the h@ll happened baws?

Bad luck? $hitty timing? Corn dog smell? What the H@ll ?

Jimbo wanted a 10 year deal, LSU did not want to commit to that long of a contract

Is it true that Jimbo's wife cheated on him ? Do we have a reversal of what heck is in the news on this one ?

Maybe he just thought the “cheerleaders” were cuter at aTm.

Completely different dynamics on a serious note. He lost leverage.

Where did Florida State fall short this year?
If you think Jimbo is a savior, why did he do so bad there?

We will never land a big name coach while Alleva is AD, but it's too late now.

A&M may have been the only school crazy enough to give him 10years if Saban money guaranteed.

Timing and Jimbo's petsonal/professional circumstances. Also, I certainly wouldn"t commit that type of money for ten years to anyone. Too many things can hapen in that period of time. I am not sure we ever really had Jumbo in the first place.

He wanted $75M for ten years guaranteed, and LSU didn’t want to pay him that much for that long.

$hitty timing?

This is the main thing. After this year, he was spent at FSU and was looking for a way out. If we had been in the market this year we may have got him.

Bad situation with his wife at FSU. It didn't seem like he was the same the last couple of years. Probably needs a fresh start, and maybe he should have taken it last year when he had the chance. I bet he is kicking himself knowing he could have been at LSU.

#1 Timing. Aggies were finally ready for the last piece of the puzzle at the same time Jimbo was at the end of his rope with FSU false promises.

#2 The price of oil. Last year oil was $30 a barrel and this year it is almost $60. Big money donors have dash to burn now.

#3 AD. Fisher and Woodward supposedly are close and he TRUST him to do what he says. Not so much with Aleva.

#4 LSU is broke. The last two years have been flush with stories of the schools and states financial troubles. It would have been a risk. Aggies are printing cash.

#5. He does not speak Cajun.
