Looks like last night he was thinking about getting hit before the ball got to him. On one pass that was thrown late he flinched and dropped the ball thinking he was about to get lit up whenever he was actually pretty wide open.

He lets the coaching staff and rumor mill dangle about transferring to bama and cause them expend resources to re recruit him. He then gives half effort because “the qb isn’t throwing the ball any way” costing us points.
He finally shows up once JD got in a rhythm throwing it to other guys.
He’s getting paid to do this.
Why can’t I do the same when im the one paying to watch this?

Do you think Ali Gaye is a head case as well and hope he opts out the rest of this season? He obviously doesn’t know how to handle sucking, and resorted to a dirty hit, because he wanted no part of the game. I’d be more worried about that kind of reaction, than the reactions we saw from Boutte.

Yeah I don't really like criticizing individual players, but Boutte...wasn't focused last night and had some worrisome body language.
He did seem more engaged when we switched offensive schemes so hopefully that's a lesson for the coaches.

Why would he wait to have a bad game before logging it off? Why wouldn't he have done it before the first game? If he had caught 8 balls for 150 yards and 2 TDs would he have logged off?

Everyone saw the Boutte on display last night & it was full diva. Appeared he read too many of the press clippings on how great he was. But, before we throw him under the bus completely, should give him another game to see if he wakes up, shows it on the field AND on the sideline! Kelly expects him to do both! If not, maybe be should op out because we will do just fine without him. Kid is going to fall in the draft if he doesn't wake up!
