Gaye wasn’t the topic of this thread. I was posting in a thread about Boutte, responding to someone(you) defending Boutte and being upset with people criticizing him. Why would I be thinking about are mentioning Gaye?
I’m not aware of any talk about Gaye being dirty, or having attitude problems. Seems like a one time fricked up thing. Boutte just added more evidence to what we already know about him.

Because a dirty hit is something that happens and can be an emotional reaction. Boutte clearly didn't care about the game, and it showed on the very first drive.
