This! As bad as our offense was, mostly due to poor QB play, our defense under Mallory and Peveto was freaking horrible!

Yeah in 2008 the running game was great, and Lee actually put up some yards and points....
And lots of people fail to realize how the 2007 defense was not very good after September. The Kentucky (average) and Arkansas (bad) losses were inexcusable. And Alabama should not have been in the game til the end either. I even remember Ole Miss moving the ball up and down the field before they threw 87 interceptions to Steltz.
