Customarily, how far in advance might we know what time that game will be scheduled for kick off? The only way I can go to that game this year is if it’s a night game, so need to be able to make some plans relatively far in advance.

12 days before the game. On rare occasions (I don't feel like explaining the nuances) they can delay it to 6 days before the game.

Dont get your hopes up

These are the games scheduled for that day:

Oct. 13 Missouri at Alabama
Oct. 13 Ole Miss at Arkansas
Oct. 13 Tennessee at Auburn
Oct. 13 Georgia at LSU
Oct. 13 Texas A&M at South Carolina
Oct. 13 Florida at Vanderbilt

LSU-UGA looks like the most intriguing matchup as of now

I believe the only competition for this game on CBS is the A&M USCe game. LSU would have to have multiple losses and those teams undefeated before they jumped us for that time slot.

Only other game that has a shot for CBS would be TAM SC if Ags somehow beat or hang tough with Clemson and LSU loses to Auburn.

Otherwise it is a Day game no doubt even if we lose to Auburn. If we beat them it doesn’t even matter if TAM beats Clemson or not imo.

this. We'll find out after the weekedn of the 9/29 games unless CBS exercises the 6 day option which I think they have 1 or 2 of a year.

However, this is 99% guaranateed for 3:30 cbs. The only way that would be different is if LSU had like 4 losses coming in but that looks virtually impossible. This is a seldom-played matchup between two powers that CBS has been drooling over since the summer. Not to mention every regular season LSU/UGA game since 1999 has been in the daytime.

I'd go ahead and plan on it being afternoon.

Well it won't be November yet so A&M might be doing very well.

95% chance this game is at 2 30 but if A&M beats Clemson and South Carolina beats Georgia this Sat, then that 95% drops to 75%

I think if A&M beats Clemson and somehow beats Bama (not saying it’ll happen, just acknowledging a possibility) and SC beats UGA then i think that becomes the game of choice. I think that’s the only realistic scenario for us not being the 2:30 slot.

Most likely be 2:30 kick off.

But UGA and LSU will have already played on CBS 230 with UGA/FLA scheduled 2 weeks later for 230 (uga 3 times by mid October). LSU/Bama will be CBS at night. So what do they do with UGA/Auburn, UGA/Tenn, LSU/FLA, LSU/Tam games? Do they put each team on CBS 230 3/4 times each?

I know, I know it will be at 230 but I really want a night game!

How many threads will be started about this same topic???

90% chance it’s a 2:30 CBS game. Plan for it to be that because it has a good chance of being that. Beat it in your brain that it’s a day game. So IF they move it to night, it’s a treat.
