Real talk…. Does anyone actually go to a game for concessions? People eat good at tailgates, and now that there’s beer in the stadium, what more do we need?

Not at all, I rarely actually get anything from concessions in the same. But on those occasions I do want a quick bite it would be nice if they served me a hamburger or hot dog that wasn’t cold.

I did when I was a student. Generally I'd get 2-3 cheeseburgers to soak up the day's sins.

Eff the concessions / the lines and get back up in the stands to make noise.

I been yelling to anyone who'll listen that we need vendors at the portals that can sell warm hot dogs and hamburgers in individual packages with some condiments in the package. They could do the same with beers

We went to the Cincy Vs Green Bay game last year and it was pretty handy to be able to pass my card down the row(maybe 10 seats from the steps) to the vendor, swipe it, and send back my card and two beers. I even hollered down to tip himself $3. Worked perfectly.

Fans are generally happy to do this rather than have your nasty butt cross their right in front of their face twice just to get a hot dog or beer.

We need that in Tiger Stadium.

53 year old Kurt is on his way to tell you college football don't need nunna that shite.

I'm not quite 53, but close, and I don't understand why people have such a problem with it. I think it looks awesome and, to me, would add another level of excitement. What..you didn't like the lights at Pink Floyd, either?

concessions

Completely agree with this one. LSU is the flagship university of the best culinary state in the country. We should have the absolute best food of any college team but instead it’s crappy carnival food.

Went to my first LSU home game a few years ago with my dad and was blown away by the food. In the bad way

Pine Forest High in P'cola Fl has better fresher food than what TS has. Seems weird in such a good foody state!

That would be awesome & as mentioned it would be one way to get Mike “back in the stadium”. But LSU better give me a little warning if/when they do this, as I’m not always thinking with the clearest of minds when I’m inside Tiger Stadium. ??

Of course no one goes to the game FOR the concessions, but would it be too much to ask to have something a little better than you can get at a gas station!?

The White Sox installed LED lights this season, and they were cool for the first night game, but they got old pretty fast. I'm surprised how many people think they're a great idea.

Plus the seizure warnings on the videoboard are a little off-putting.

Personally, I think the sound needs to be a much higher priority. They need to completely redesign the stadium’s speaker system to utilize distributed, highly directional speakers that minimize time alignment issues. Right now it’s a garbled mess in way too many seating locations.

Or just let the band play neck

They are working on food truck roundup before the games and during in the opening of the larger concourses. I was also told that they are working on rebranding and making a better product. They know their stuff sucks. They are also bringing in a lot of local restaurants that want to take an open space inside the stadium.

Need that Purdue field lighting.
Makes the field feel like center stage.

always noticed this for lakers games only at staples. when the clippers play the stands are more lit up but when the lakers play it looks like a performance on center stage

There are parts of the stadium where you can’t really hear the band either, unfortunately.

That said the sound issue isn’t really about music, at least to me. It’s about not being able to tell wtf the announcer is saying.
