For them to take a little pride in the university that they represent and the school that is giving them a degree.

Literally, my only two expectations of the Reveille would be that they be grammatically correct and not have an antagonistic attitude towards the athletic department.

I agree. He wasn't exonerated of wrong doing. There isn't reason to celebrate. Sure be glad if you want for him being back on the team. It is still unfortunate that it has brought so much bad press to LSU and their football program.

and my fault for not clarifying..
i have no idea exactly what crimes are misdemeanors or not..
i mean its major in the sense of national perception & more importantly, its major to me if he isn't able to be wearing #33 and running all over the big 12 defense that TCU has

You want to call him out for committing the acts, regardless of what they were plead down to, they COULD HAVE been felonies... fine.

The article takes issue with Hills' demeanor and lack of response following the allegations.. which I call bullcrap. Most likely, Hills' attorney ORDERED that he shut down his Twitter account to avoid making a spectacle of himself and saying something to hurt the chances of his reinstatement.

As far as his demeanor is concerned, the kid just found out he'd be allowed to play football at LSU again after sitting in limbo for months. He SHOULD be thrilled.

Nobody is 'giving' anyone a degree, first of all.

Secondly, a reporter's job isn't to necessarily take pride in every portion of the organization they belong to. Not to mention the word we got before Miles presser yesterday that Administration outside the athletic department wanted a 3 game suspension. So maybe the writer agrees with those people, also part of the university you're talking about.

Didn't some dumb bitch from there pretend to be an Alabama fan just to elicit responses a few years ago?

Yes, and I did not believe one single word of what she wrote. I'm calling her out as a liar.

Then there was another female "journalist" who wrote of such important issues as how to administer a blow job and anal bleaching (I'll take her word for it).

The Reveille is a joke. It is staffed by a bunch of idiots being trained to write for the Baton Rouge Advocate, not the Wall Street journal. The Manship School of Journalism is not on anyone's radar screen for up and coming talent.

hmmm let's see now,Ryan Perrilloux,Jordan Jefferson,Tyrann Mathieu(along with 3 others)twice in one season,Jeremy Hill...have I left anything out? It's got to the point where we're all holding our breath and wondering what next? Maybe when we start doing positive things off the field also,we'll start getting positive press.Yeah yeah yeah,I know other universities have their issues with problem players but for some reason LSU has come to the forefront.

Nobody in the media cares if the third-string OT has conduct problems unless it's a severe crime.

the author, I'm intentionally not repeating their name, is doing what kids do these days: trying to generate buzz and increase their brand. Their brand is them, their name. And you yahoos fall for it every time. You continue to do it with that idiot in Shreveport and you're doing it with this jackass kid.

As for Manship, there's some very savvy public relations and political kids coming out of that. Excellent teaching for that there right now.

Wow. You are an uninformed dick.
You don't know anything about the positive things the team do in the community?

You realize every other SEC school besides 1-2 has had more arrests and off the field issues than LSU?
