I'm talking elite level accuracy, I was thinking that it was Mettenberger, but in retrospect I seem to remember Landry and Beckham just being wide fricking open every play, which makes so much more sense given their post-LSU careers.

Was it JaMarcus?

Anyway, point being, it seems like accuracy is Burrow's biggest strength. It would be such a relief to see players hit in stride, or have screen passes and wheel routes give our skill position the ball in time to do something with it.

go tigers.

Yes, Jamarcus

Lee in 2011 was sneaky accurate though.

Last accurate QB was probably around the time you hosted the TD radio show.

Unless he was under any kind of pressure.

Met in 2013 was the most accurate I’ve seen at LSU. He hit dimes on some insane throws that year.

Dude, Mett was pretty damn accurate.

Led the nation in 3rd down conversion % too.

I was just thinking about that. But I’m also remembering a ridiculous amount of separation downfield.

I would say he was pretty good, but definitely got a lot of help at times from Landry and Beckham making circus catches. Still likely the best we've had from an accuracy standpoint this past decade.

Averaging about 65% at over 10 yards per attempt is crazy good, Mett wasn't getting cheap yards often at all

Mett was accurate but could not run.
Flynn was accurate and could run.
Jamarcus was accurate as well.

Exactly. He was damn good on intermediate and long throws.

Yes, our WRs were great, but Mett often played to their strengths and put it only where they could get it.

Jamarcus was very accurate.

67.8% compl. % which I'm pretty sure was near the top in the entire country. And this was at 9.7 YPA, which is stout AF.

Hodson's best year was his sophomore year in this category and he completed 61.1% of his passes. And this was at 8.0 YPA.

Our fans routinely forget how damn good Jamarcus was in college because of his crappy pro career. He was an all-timer.

Not even remotely accurate

56.3% at 6.7 YPA. That is pedestrian AF.

Mett hit those 12 yard out routes like no one I’ve ever seen.

Yep.

He had the arm talent to actually make those Cam Cameron NFL timing throws to the sideline.
