When the chips are down Alleva always makes the wrong decision

It is almost comical how bad Joe Alleva is when a higher level of decisiveness and leadership is needed.
Just a few:
- Duke lacrosse scandal
- keeping Miles after A&M win only to fire him a few games into the next season;
- having almost an entire season to find a head football coach and then hiring your D Line coach;
- this entire Will Wade fiasco.
When the stress is on, he’s always gonna make the wrong decision.
It’s an amazing “talent”.
Just a few:

- this entire Will Wade fiasco.

I was giving him hope last week with all the other bullshite he has done aside being that he had to do what his boss tells him. After the sec tournament and today frick him he is dead to me.

LSU is headed to the very bottom of the SEC with his direction. How many basketball coaches can he hire at LSU???

I really cannot imagine a more incompetent executive. His entire function is fundraising and making key decisions. He is absolutely horrible at making critical decisions...horrible! He reminds me of that movie, “The Cooler”. Everything he touches loses.

The way he handled the hurricane game with FL was a bad look too. Yeah, the wind barely blew there but the way he nade an arse of himself shows he has no tact. He is a joke. Horrible hire

Sitting on his arse during the hurricane debacle allowing Florida to stall, waiting for Foley and Sankey to set the narrative, then trying to sound like a hardass after Foley had already been in front of the camera which made LSU look even worse after the fact.

I've always thought O was going to be a good coach for LSU. I can't support most of his other decisions.

The last 3 items you listed were big decisions he got wrong, but the first one listed is in a different category and remains unforgivable. All of his other 'wrong' decisions pale in comparison to the Duke Lacrosse scandal.
That alone should have disqualified him for the position he holds.

I think the Wade debacle will come close to the Duke scandal. He’s gonna fire Wade as early as next week and someone like A&M is going to hire him and beat our arse for the next 15 years.
