This is crazy, but I believe the last time we had 2 named starters in the league at the same time was the strike year of 1982. David Woodley started all 9 games for the Dolphins and Bert Jones was the Rams starter for the first four games of the season (and the last four of his career). They didn't play each other however.

I don't have the definitive answer, but David Woodley's Dolphins beat Bert Jones' [Baltimore] Colts in 1981.

Miami 27, Baltimore 10

Y.A. Tittle never faced M.C. Reynolds in the regular season.

Yep. I had forgotten Woodley started that entire season for the Dolphins.

Mac Jones and Tua faced each other last year.

Mac Jones and Tua played in the same division so I'm guessing that would be your answer. And Hurts is in the league as well. At some point recently 2 Bama QBs had to have played each other.

Baker vs Kyler most likely.

Off topic but Burrow needs Tee Higgins, have them stop doubling Chase all the time.

Will be interesting to see how contract negotiations go. Chase is probably going to want Justin Jefferson money but Chase just isn’t as good, or at least he hasn’t proven it yet… and I don’t even know if the Bengals can feasibly do it with Burrow’s mega contract.

I really can’t imagine Burrow and Chase not playing together at this point.

Russell was out of the league very fast and idk if Flynn ever actually started except for a game or two.

He had that huge game when Rodger's was resting the last week of the season and got a monster contract from Seattle but was beat out by rookie Russell Wilson

But they were both in the league a couple of years overlapping, so may have been in a game together, which was the question

Oh ok in your mind it's like if they were on a team that happen to play another team but neither started?

I think the OP was saying when they've actually played each other
