May not be exactly a fair question but I am trying to remember a time where at the end of a half or end of the game in a one score game that the defense got a BIG stop to preserve a win or preserve the game and I have to go back to Clemson 2025? OM 2024?

And with Clemson I believe the basically drove the length of the field to end the game and were throwing to the end zone like LSU vs OM this year

Well, when Leavitt gave Kentucky the ball at the 13 with LSU up by 3 with 4 minutes left, Baker got a 5-yard, 3-and-out to hold it to a FG (they missed).

He gave it back to the offense with 3:11 left. If they stick with the short passing game with mixed in Leavitt scrambles we win.

Instead, we go super conservative except the third down pass to Watkins and the rest is history.

When is the last time a Baker defense forced a crucial turnover? Florida last year?

Baker makes zero adjustments until the 2nd half.

Not often enough considering the about of people riding his jock for 3 years.

Not aggressive enough in crunch time plays safe and usually doesn’t work out.

Guy is the most overrated coach LSU has ever had as far as I’m concerned.
