Meh. Nuss was a big (not only, but big) reason for the losing streak.

However, his season outside those terrible 10 quarters has been generally very good to great. He had a great game against Vandy.

Just calling balls and strikes here.

Happy for the win but Nuss is reverting to Jordan Jefferson level for seeing the field.

Did JJ ever throw for 330 in his entire career?

vandy played a lot of zone, rogers in the pregame telecast said the throws outside the hash and underneath would be open because thst is what vandy wants you to do

occasionally you take vertical shots when they start rolling up the zone

so that is what nuss did and it worked the way it should

we just dont have two nfl WRs to make the really tough catches down field like we did last year

I agree completely on the chemistry observation. The eye test tells me Mason Taylor is the only receiver truly dialed in with Nuss. Many passes are just a half-second slow, not hitting the WR in stride. I am hoping for and expecting a big leap in year 5 for Nuss!

check downs were also a point of discussion this week in practice

I will take this all day. Especially when they were gaining 15 yards+. The guys did an excellent job of making the first guy miss.

His throws were late. Which led to side line catches without the ability to turn up field. I don’t know that he targeted any seem routes that were open a great deal in the first half. Lacy ran a great route at the goal line on 4th down; that should have been the throw.

This has become a problem.

He nearly got Lacy killed on that early throw of the game down the left side where he threw it late and lacy got smacked.

Very David Carr like.

You’re upsetting all the Nuss Bus lovers. Be careful.

He completed 70% of his passes for over 330 yards, didn’t put the ball in harms way and got little help from his receivers once again due to the number of drops, including a touchdown. Go play in traffic
Such an idiotic comment.

It was never said he didn't have a good night.

In a sport where every player/coach is looking to improve even after a win you're happy to sit in the corner and be content with good enough.

OL. Just like we would have beaten FL if it wasn't for the dropped passes and receiver miscues. He would have had 0ver 400 yds and 3-4 scores if his receivers didn't drop the balls or Taylor stepping out of bounds prior to a 20 yd catch. Not to mention the pressure he faced against FL. I believe Nuss would benefit from another year just like Burrow and JD did. Would also help Collins and Hurley as they gain experience in order to take the helm when Nuss leaves.
