The SEC contract with them is for 16 teams. They could hold the SEC in breach of contract and terminate it for cause if we are not part of the deal.

This is what I’m thinking. The amount of contracts tied to our membership plus the TV contract are insane. You can’t add an LSU replacement overnight, that’s a process. Plus we have a whole season to play. Sankey man

Not just house of Mouse. Things like Nike wouldn't be happy to see LSU taken out of the SEC.

There also isn’t even a 1 for 1 replacement for us.
The sec isn’t getting a Big10 team as they have the better media deal.
