What game was it for you?

This was the most anticipated, intense, and exciting game for me at Tiger Stadium i can remember. LSU Football had arrived and Tiger Stadium was rockin all night. We had been waiting a long time to have something worth cheering about and this set in motion the thoughts of one day winning a National Championship. I think we all knew that it wouldn't be long!

LINK

I wish our fans still cheered the way they did during this game.

Its cyclical, we'll suck again - but hopefully not for a long time.

i know we sucked in 99 (the fans were still great in 98 despite the record)

you youngsters are fricking hilarious and spoiled rotten. we ain't "here to stay", we're here to work our fricking asses off, fight with all we've got, just to not to fall into mediocrity. one frickup (a la perrilloux) and we are middle of the road. don't forget it, enjoy it while we can.

Ole Miss 1958 - first game after the Tigers were ranked #1 and they proved they were worthy - beat a good Ole Miss team 14-0.

Did you have to have an epiphany to realize that LSU’s football program is actually a major tradition at LSU and not a sport that is renewed each year by a vote of the Board of Supervisors?

SEC Championship Game

The home game provided a huge boost of excitement. However, it was a home game and very winnable. The SEC Championship was a "neutral" game, had alot at stake, and LSU dominated it.

No team is ever here to stay. Every team eventually tanks and LSU is no exception. They will be mediocere again, I just hope I'm already dead when that happens.

@Alabama 2005. On the road, undefeated bama with a senior QB, and les, not nick as the coach. When we won that one, we were fine til the next coach

When we beat the shite out of Miami. Going into the game with Flynn, I thought they would rock us. We put a beating on them like I've never seen. I knew we were one of the elite programs then.

I still think it's one of the most impressive wins we have had.
