Seems like a lot of the other SEC schools have had a lot of announcements regarding the draft from their juniors. Anyone know when we should hear from the rest of ours?

The longer the better. Hopefully our staff is convincing all the guys that will be later round picks to come back to school.

Agreed. If most of them are coming back ( not getting my hopes up on Devin)I could see them making a big deal out of it like a joint press conference or announcing all the same day to hype it up to get people excited for next year. We did that before.

Everyone is coming back per my sauces. I can't disclose my sauces but they have LSU ties.

I have a feeling that Divinity is NFL bound. Especially with his baby girl.

At least their mind wasn’t made up and they didn’t announce the day after the bowl game

The idea that declaring early because you have a baby.... is such a short-sighted thought process... waiting one year and getting more money is smarter than declaring early to go in a later round... the baby doesnt care if your getting paid or not., it just wants to eat its formula and for u to change its diaper.. thats about as dumb as a medical school student to drop out his last year and go get a hospital job because he has a child...
kids dont really need money until they are 15 years old.. its always smarter to think about the long term gross income, than to sell yourself short for immediate paycheck... and that kid will realize you were a dumbass when they are old enough to realize it..

Bingo. Coming back and uping your draft stock can be the difference in $20 million.

Dumb.

When you're an 18-21 year old full-time college student, do you think it's easy to provide for a baby? Do you have any idea what it costs (including formula and diapers) for just the basics? Some of these kids come from extreme poverty. A job is sometimes a necessity, not a luxury.

I know some folks raising 5-6 kids with no job. One should be fine. I had my first while I was still in college.

I know fully. Which is why it’s dumb to have kids while in school

Easy solution here. Just don’t have children you can’t afford.
