I thought for sure it was foul. 3 ft to left of pole.

Looked fair in the real time video. You can see it pass behind the pole

The last replay has me convinced it was a fair ball. Can’t believe they didn’t review that or if they did I guess i missed it

They indeed did review it

Well if Birmingham said no homer it must have been foul….

It was clearly fair on the video you just posted.

A few reasons why I’m pretty sure it was foul. There was an LSU fan wearing grey right behind the foul pole that turned while putting his hands on his head in disgust. And Stanfield never even blinked and was very accepting of the call.

Its very obvious it was fair looking at this.
What did you see on the live broadcast yesterday proving it foul? Where the ball landed?
The live broadcast showed the same zoomed in image shown on the Wheels video of the ball landing foul.

So you saying.... the ball reached the foul pole, passed in on the "fair side", then curved 90* left to land in foul territory.... maybe 3 rows up.
the ball was slicing. In the video it looks like it went fair behind the pole at 6:22-6:23 mark if you slow time down.
slow playback speed to 0.25 and watch the foul pole at 6 minutes 22 seconds.
There is zero doubt it was a fair ball slowing playback speed to 0.25 on youtube at the 6:22 mark.

Landing fouls doesn’t mean foul

I watched every pitch yesterday and was certain when he hit it, it was a homer, then I was certain it was foul, now I am certain he hit a homer again…pretty insane this day in age there is even a debate
This is the 100% answer

read my next post, I was responding to the guy asking what image was shown on the live broadcast.

This feels like a John McEnroe argument about whether or not the ball was on the line.

That sucker was surely a fair ball and HR. Just another blown call by the sec umps.

the ball landed at most a few feet right behind the wall.
do you know how harsh of a slice it would have to have to go behind the pole, then land where it did?
the ball would have had to be traveling damn near parallel with the fence (after traveling 330'+ a different direction) to do that.

Definitely a home run that sliced behind the foul pole if this video is real. However there didn’t appear to be a TV camera angle that showed this
Bruh I created this video. It’s 100% real. I replayed it on a bigger tv, zoomed in a little and recorded it in slomo. Not that it really matters but we could have easily lost had they scored a couple runs. I was wondering why it was taking so long to review it. That’s home cooking for ya I guess.

I just did this. It was definitely a fair ball. frick the SEC and them umps they robbed Stanny of a 3 run jack and LSU of an easier win.

So the ESPN video just shows the bottom of the foul pole. Since the second video clearly shows it was fair despite where it ended up.
Crazy how camera angles change the entire perspective.
Good job nootch. I knew it was fair.
