With the back/back canceled games and loss of revenue....look for Aleva to use that as his excuse to morph the TX and UCLA home/home series to neutral site money-grab games !

I say pass. I'd rather play a team from the Big Ten, but a home and home or if we play an ACC team I'd rather it be Florida State.

I would be down to play Clemson. Would be fun. I don't believe it is worth the risk though. The committee says they want you to play a tough schedule but only if you win. LSU losing to Clemson means they need to run the table because most likely the 2 loss team is not getting in. I just don't see the value in it. Play a middle of the road big conference team win and move on.
Oklahoma lost to Houston then the big game against Ohio State. They weren't even considered for the final 4. Not saying they should have been but they ran the big12. If LSU loses to Clemson then bama or ole miss it's done. If LSU beats northwestern and loses to bama or ole miss we could still get in.

I'm all in for a home and home with ANY of the major OOC teams...Clemson, FSU, Ohio State, Michigan, USC, etc. All would be one of the major featured games of the week and bring attention to our program.
I really wish we could return to that formula and get rid of or lessen the neutral site games. It's cool being in what's essentially a bowl game against a notable opponent to start the year but nothing beats the atmosphere of college stadiums, home or away

I'm excited about the series with Texas. I would also love one with either Michigan or Ohio St.
