For me, it would look something like this going into the playoff:

1) OSU
2) LSU
3) USC
4) UGA

(TCU eliminated in the Big 12 CG)

LSU beats USC in the first round and beats OSU in the championship. I’d love to see a 2 loss LSU team beat 2 of the most hated non-conference teams in the country. For me it would be almost as satisfying as 2019.

DISCLAIMER: I am fully aware that LSU needs to beat A&M and UGA to make it to the playoffs. I do not play for LSU and it doesn’t matter that I’m looking ahead.

Tired of the same old same old. I’d like to see some new matchups

1. Michigan
2. TCU
3. LSU
4. USC

LSU hammers TCU in the semis, to then get a first time ever matchup with UM or finally get that USC game for the natty. I’d be cool with either.

Zero chance the buckeyes would beat UGA in your scenario

I would LOVE a chance to whoop up on Lincoln Riley’s USC.

Both for the “co-National champions thing and for Kelly to get a shot at Riley since he ran away from the SEC

They're not leaving out a 1-loss championship defending UGA.

I like our chances with any matchup outside an immediate rematch with UGA…. That would suck.

Yea I’m trying to figure out where the idea of UGA not making the top 4 is coming from lol

They would shuffle the final 4 teams around to prevent a back to back rematch.

But, if we do get in to the CFP and win the first round, chances are that we’ll have to play UGA again in the NC.

Would love LSU to play USC. LSU vs USC, Michigan, and/or Ohio St would all be fun games to see. At full strength, Michigan is Ole Miss with a better defense. USC is a typical Lincoln Riley squad. Ohio St at full strength is a monster offensively. Defensively, they are still suspect.

Ole Les Miles would have a want for the opportunity to compete with ferocity and might.

same as you except I'd prefer to play TCU round 1

They're a fake creampuff. Anyone who makes the playoffs will decimate them.

I don’t think they’re the automatic shoo-in that people seem to think. If LSU beats them, they do not have a super impressive resume. If the other results don’t go their way, they’d be in trouble. Their best wins would be Oregon (who could lose to USC) and Tennessee (already took a knock last week though still top 10). No conference championship either.

OSU/UM winner and TCU being undefeated are both in. I really do not think the committee would keep out a PAC12 champion USC coming off 3 straight top 15 wins with the lone loss by 1 point on the road to another top 15 team.

So it comes down to UGA and LSU, who would have just beaten them for the SEC and have arguably the 2 best wins in the country.

frick Georgia and any potential for a rematch.

1. OSU
2. TCU
3. LSU
4. USC/Clemson

TCU would give us the easiest path to the final. Would love to face USC in the final, but Clemson or Ohio State would do just fine.
