Who should I start? Looks like Olave is a go, on the road, against the dirty birds. Godwin and the Bucs, at home, are playing Philly and that tough defense

This is a meh stat, Auburn is ahead of Bama, Georgia is 98th at 15/17. The concern is the TD percentage. 19TDs allowed in 27 trips. Bama has allowed just 10 TDs in 23 trips.
I know this post is getting a lot of hate but when I look down and see we have a single sack on the year, it’s worrisome. That has a lot to do with, but not all, the backend performances thus far. Roger’s is fully capable of dissecting us if given the time. Yes Moo’s offense looks different without Leach, but you can’t convince me that they are gonna run straight into the teeth of the defense with the film they have on us defending the pass and an outstanding quarterback that can slang it.

Would have gone from a potential Bye/host scenario in the top 4 to out all together. The melt would have been uncontrollable!

I like our chances with any matchup outside an immediate rematch with UGA…. That would suck.
I’ve actually had this same thought, I’d like to know what the payout for making the playoff vs New Years 6 would be.
Not sure about “man crush” but my first “favorite player” that I can remember was Marcus Spears.

What I’m leaning on in my thinking is our coaching, mainly Brady, there’s is nothing he hasn’t seen. The worst NFL defense is lightyears ahead of anything you’ll see in college, scheme or skill. I’m confident that he will find the weakness and confident that he has coached Burrow up on any scenario he might encounter. Disguising/faking coverage is the norm on the next level, which is where Brady was just last year.
If he can’t pull it together after 3 years in the program, two years behind a Heisman winner and coaching from the Broyles award winner offensive genius, then he never will. Not to mention his arm is stronger than Joe’s, and his size is comparable.
I can’t think of one time this year that this team looked unfocused. There’s too much veteran leadership and mature young players to lose focus at this point.

There is a difference between “gameplan failure” and “failure to execute a game plan”. Joe said in his post game, when asked about the bunch formations, that it was in the gameplan. It was something that the coaches saw that state did that would allow success out of the bunch. 3 red zone trips. Not the game plans fault we didn’t finish.

My argument would be that Dabo isn’t “on that level” either. “That level” being Saban. Yes, what he has done at Clemson has been outstanding, and yes, he has beaten Saban twice now. But I would say if you gave Clemson an SEC west schedule for the last 5 or so years, they lose an average of two games a year. What Saban has done is a level of its own, ain’t NOBODY on “that leve”l.
