I don’t assume victory because of our ability to play poorly but if we start strong we crush Ole Miss.

I hope you're right, but Patterson moves pretty well, so I worry about our ability to keep him contained.

Other than BYU, has LSU had a "complete" win this year?

I don't think this team will have an 'easy' win for the rest of the way.

I think DBU stays in current form and we shut Patterson down. Guice/Williams will eat, and we should win by 10+

O will have these boys fired up because he knows the backlash that would come with an L.

Geaux to hell Ole Miss!

I’m really conflicted right now. We should win, but I’m highly skeptical right now. Ole Miss is playing better, at home, at night and we are bringing Orgeron with us back to Oxford.

I feel confident we win and should win comfortably, but I just don't take any game for granted. I didn't under Les and I don't now.

Ole Miss is the worst team we'll have faced since BYU. They lost to a decent Cal team by 11, to Bama by a margin of 66-3 and to Auburn by a score of 44-23.

They can put up some points but they can't stop a soul. Especially on the ground. LSU is starting to gain confidence and Guice is fully healthy.

This will get ugly once Aranda's adjustments set in.

Nervously optomistic. Does LSU have the talent to crush OM? Absolutely! Will we crush them? Depends which LSU team shows up.

LSU could easily be 7-0 right now and a top 10 team. But our record is what we are so I'm hoping for a win Saturday.

Who knows what to expect at this point.

If we get the MSU/Troy tigers we lose.

If we get the UF/AU Tigers we win.

I just want to win...losing to Ole Miss sucks.

This is damning commentary about Orgeron. Agreed all around.

I think Orgeron does better when he anticipates adversity, and not so well when he doesn't. That's not some profound statement because you could apply the same to a lot of people walking this earth. The old boxing adage is that the worst punch is the one you don't see coming. Orgeron doesn't do a good job of bracing for adversity he doesn't yet see. And that's the danger of this game.

He can say all he wants about how tough this game is going to be but he said the same thing vs Troy and MSU and look what happened. We all know those were perceived to be inferior opponents and he probably thought the same on some level. Hell he admitted it after MSU when he said they were a little better than some of us thought, or something to that effect.

I have an idea of what to expect but I do acknowledge that it is possible that he's learning what it takes to coach at this level. I cannot imagine he could go through what he went through in September, then letting himself fall into old habits. But that happens most times with people.

He’s doesn’t really sell well commercially through the mainstream but he’s one of the best beef rappers of all time... his stuff where he goes off on 50 cent and G-Unit is pretty badass... 300 bars and runnin is my favorite

If the defense plays like the last part of the Auburn game. I'm confident.

Glad that the game is relevant and LSU is favored to win - considering 2 weeks earlier no one cared. Watch the game, have a few beer with a good burger and hope for the best - turning off the noise makes for a much more enjoyable life - same with cable news - too many expert opinions from negative thinking people. A little of it all goes a loooong way these days!

Geaux Tigers!

I think the way our tigers bounced back from two tough losses to win against two ranked teams with the pressure mounting says a lot. I think the young players are growing up fast and are gaining the confidence they need to win on the road. We will see an ole miss team pumped like state. It's their super bowl. The state game should have taught them a lot so I feel good. Lsu wins 33-21

Blood bath. It's not going to be an enjoyable game for Ole Miss.
