U stupid frick. Thats 2 high. Lmfao!! What he does or who he covers after the play is irrelevant. He covers a guy 10 yards off the ball bc FSU blitzed from the slot. He did not walk into the box or even to within 5 yards of the LOS. He picked up the WR at 10 yards off the ball. 1 high means that they are committing an extra body to the box or at least around the LOS.

JD is what’s wrong with the running game. He makes it easy for teams to scheme against our offense. If you can’t be a threat passing, then defenses don’t have to respect the pass. The only time we see JD excel is when he out athletes the other team. He will often be exposed against equal or better athletes.

Thanks for proving again that you have no idea what you’re talking about. You couldn’t be more wrong and even within your post you’re disproving your own point. You’re an idiot, go play some more Xbox.

It’s ok u don’t know the difference between 2 high/Cov 2 or 1 high/Cov 1. It’s a simple concept.
The fact that ur misconstruing formation for coverage/play is absolutely laughable.

More irony, you don’t know the difference between pre and post snap looks or what coverage disguises are. You’re ignorant, so ignorant you contradict yourself without even knowing it. You’ve been proven wrong on everything you’ve said in this thread. You’re a nerd.

Teams know Daniels can't threaten them down the field or run the zone read effectively

The problem with the running game is that he needs to get better at throwing the football

Les Miles wasn't running the ball out of the shotgun with RPO and read option looks thus the offensive line knew exactly who was carrying the ball and where they were going the vast majority of the time.
He also ran out of the I formation a ton so there were fullbacks and tight ends blocking.
You're talking 9 players blocking on every run play.
The other team just had to stop it.
With the plays LSU is running now, the line and receivers don't know if Jayden is going to run the ball himself, give it, or throw it so everyone is out of synch.
You usually only have 4-5 people actually blocking.
The deep pass threat is non existent so teams are just rolling their linebackers down to the LOS and outnumbering LSU's 4-5 blockers and letting their safeties play the intermediate passes.
It effectively shuts LSU down outside of an elite level scramble by JD5 or a short pass with a YAC from a blown coverage/missed tackle.

Traditional offenses also have a lot more options than spread up tempo offenses which are designed to make the D play more vanilla and limit substitutions. The defenses have to account for a lot more in a traditional offense, play action being the big one.

Exactly.
This offense would probably be great if Denbrock/Daniels were at Cincinnati or somewhere but it doesn't work with the level of coaching and talent in the SEC, or even at FSU (obviously).

We can't ke refuse to pass thr ball down field..So everyone on the defense is closed to the LOs at the snap

Daniel’s is what he is. Good not great. Limited just as everyone says.
If he does not float the ball to Thomas. If Lacey catches the third drop on third and seven.
We very likely win the game.
I do not understand the smaller backs over Cain and Diggs.
And our future interior defensive lineman pipeline is not where we need it to be.
