Ware. In the start of the year he ran like a man on a mission. After the one game suspension he looks like he's scared to pound the rock.

I thought the same thing. Definitely doesn't look like he did at the beginning of the season.

More like the opposite. He seems to seek out contact to a fault.

All the violent hitting caught up with him and he wore out. He did his job though. I expect him to get less carries in the NC game and yet be effective.

This. Every time he gets the ball its like he seeks out to hit someone when theres a hole he could easily cut to. It seems like a 4 yd run with a truck stick on someone > a 10-15 run

Ware looks hurt, or worn down. Hope he gets healthy over Christmas.

Nah, teams are stacking the box early because we come out and run the ball up the middle 90% of the plays in the 1st/2nd qtr. The O line started real slow in the SECCG, but he's still the initial battering ram. By the 2nd half (or OT), everybody has quit so far.

He's just tired and gets the responsibility of running into a fresh D who is stacking the box at the beginning of every game. He did have a nice TD against Arky though. The layoff will probably help him out a little.

I think it's all a confidence thing. He just hasn't been the same since the suspension. With the way we spread the ball around to the backs, I don't think it's an issue of being worn down personally. His first game back, unfortunately, was against Alabama, and there was a slim chance he was gonna pound them like he did everyone else. Then we had back to back games against bad teams where we emptied the bench at running back. He just hasn't had the chance to get his confidence back to run like he was, but he had a couple tough runs against Arkansas where he carried multiple people down the field that leads me to believe he's not been worn down, not mention him KO-ing a Georgia linebacker last weekend.

He is definitely not running at full capacity. I noticed in the ole miss game when he broke that long TD run, he was running with a limp or hitch in his step

He could stand to lose a few lbs. I love his style, but he "plods" too much through the hole lately.

He'll be fine and well rested by the time the game gets here.

We're gonna smoke Bama this time.
