What's up with Fournette's behavior?

I thought he was the toast of the town, but apparently something has changed. The Jaguars have voided all of his guaranteed money and then he and Yeldon are seen on the bench pouting and disinterested in the game Sunday. HC then calls their actions disrespectful and unprofessional. LF is one of the last guys I would expect to act this way! I remember just recently watching him exchange words with a fan in the stands, then getting suspended for a fight on the field and now this! I hope I'm wrong, but sounds like LF has gotten too big for his britches. He's a great running back, but many talented players have destroyed their own careers by doing stupid things. Clearly sounds like the Jaguars are going to cut him, but what team wants to bring in a toxic player into their locker room?

There’s so much wrong with your post that I’m not going to even start to point it out.

Fournette has never had any legal troubles, none of his teammates have ever said anything negative about it, on several occasions he’s given back to to several communities, including raising 180k for South Carolina flood victims and donating a weight room to a local Jacksonville high school.

Maybe shut your dickholster if you don’t know what your saying.

Hopefully Fournette gets out of Jacksonville ASAP. Chiefs would be a dream landing spot.

The signs have been there for a long time that he has a huge ego/huge head.

Remember the Heisman pose after scoring one yard TD playing little sister of the poor? Set off alarm bells.

Leonard needs to mature, no question.

But playing for the Jaguars is going to kill him.

He needs a team with a more balanced offense.

Sounds like you're the one who doesn't have a clue. Tell me one thing I listed that wasn't true!

Fournette needs to play for a team such as the Ravens or Saints. A team with balance and a powerful OL. The Jags are not a good fit and they have no good peices around him whatsoever. I really thought Fournette was gonna be one of the greats but he has had issues this year. Last year was promising but this year damning.

I guess for me I was expecting him to handle anything that came his way in a professional manner. Disappointed that he's taken this approach and I agree with many of your comments in that he has to mature and act like an adult!

I'll bet you 100$ they don't cut him until his contract runs out in 4 years. Seriously I want to make that bet. Any takers?

I'll also bet anyone that they don't pick up his 5th year option. I'll put 50$ on that one.. If there's any bookies out there, whats up on a parlay for ya boy?

People can bash the Jags all they want but it's his attitude that is upsetting their fans/coaches. What he needs as much as a good OL is a team with good leadership, older players that will keep him straight.

Have no idea. I am just glad that yet another thread has been started about it. The others just weren't enough. Hopefully, a few more will be started today.

he's a 1st round draft pick that wants out of Jacksonville. In The NFL this is the only way out of that situation. If he act right and played hard he will never get traded only tagged.

Yeah the Jags are going down the toilet.

They’re the NFL version of Les Miles’ LSU

He lost his guaranteed money, that means a significant injury or reduced production and they will most likely cut him. He has to produce from here on.

He’s playing against NFL defenses that would make Bama’s D look similar to Pop Warner each week with an Oline only slightly better than LSU. It was fun for a while especiallly with the new millions in his bank account, but like anything else you get used to the money, expect more money, feel entitled, and forget where you came from and what got you there.

Like most millennials, Fournette probably feels like people regardless of age should earn respect by either demonstrating value or at least showing respect to him first.

Coughlin, on the other hand, is old school and believes that you should automatically respect authority regardless of circumstances. He believes that his position as president or whatever means that LF7 should bow down to his orders without him having to earn any trust from the players.

I think that basically Coughlin is in charge and is calling players out and laying down the law and Fournette views it as disrespectful and is rebelling.

I think coughlin is trying to rid the team of bad apples but he is definitely gonna chase off talented players this way. So it might get worse for the jags before it gets better.

Bottom line, that organization has major issues and right now they are scapegoating the players as the reason why.
