So those of you not going back to Gainesville or Athens or any other SEC town because of fan behavior should start self policing around Tiger Stadium.

That must be why the Vol game attendance was the 6th highest in LSU history.

Alumni Association canceled the trip in May due to lack of participation. So, whatever it was, had nothing to do with fed up fan base.

That's good to hear. I was afraid the animosity spread too far.

If the AD doesn't want the fans to express their displeasure by booing, then the next avenue is to not attend the games.

To stay away from the Florida game is an easy start, but when the fans start to stay away from home games, the powers that be will start to understand exactly how knowledgable their "customers" are of the product that is being sold and the eventual impact of serving them less than what they feel they paid for.

I do not know a person who would go. Still will be pulling for the Tigers, in spite of the coach. Old coach cannot go anywhere without questions.

Went in 04 and 08. It's not a great away game trip. Zero tailgate atmosphere, Nazi cops, distance and unfriendly fans.
It will probably be awhile until I go back.

wusses.

go and support your team. no-showing in BR or giving up your TAF tickets will speak volumes. Failing to attend a big away game won't.

FWIW, I will take the chance of enduring 5 beatdowns in the Mud Puddle if it means being there when something like '04 happens again. That was the best road game experience ever for me.

Same thing happened with the Capitol one bowl game. With the economy and all, that is probably why.

I've been on plenty away game trips. I'll be in Auburn in two weeks. Can't make them all.

When I say trashy, I don't mean easy... I mean it as in jersey shore or trailer types. So yes, it's a bad thing
