I thought Magee played better than Deculus. Deculus was supposed to start against Florida, but they went with Magee and he looked like the better tackle.
Agreed. In fact, at OG I thought overall Magee played better than Saddiq.

However, Charles showed 'flashes' that had some wow factor. Magee was more solid.

I hope they keep Charles at OT; if it's luck they found out about his abilities there it's damn good luck. I think it's a no-brainer now. He's an OT, it's between Deculus and Traore for the other IMHO.

The word on him was physically great, but needed to better learn the offense. Now he'll be starting from scratch with new OC and OL coach like everyone else.

By "the word", I mean people stealing pay site stuff and posting it here.

He played enough last year to show he wasn't "physically great".

That doesn't mean he can't develop. But, the thought that he was physically exceptional (as a Tackle) is way off base. In fact, I think he's going to end up being a guard.

He played against shitty competition in a low high school classification. It usually takes those guys a bit longer to make the transition.

I will never be able to understand the Rant. Why do people make shite up and post it as fact and just expect everybody to accept it?

Like 6A in Texas is a low high school classification and has shitty competition. IDIOT !!!

I think Magee has a better chance at starting at the other tackle than Deculus, but that's just me. Will be interesting to how Cregg constructs this OL.

And there isn't another G spot open. Brum is Left guard, Ingram is right. We'll have some great guard depth this year.

Really that Deculus can't crack the starting lineup shows how good and deep the o-line is going to be this coming season

I think Magee will be in the Mix at Tackle

He played well at RT vs auburn

I am wondering if Brumsfield doesn’t move to Center. That would open up another Guard spot, and he’s played there before.

Deculus reminds me of Pocic......coming in as a hyped up freshman OT and possibly could see him at Center in the future.

I meant he was strong, decently agile, and had great size.

His technique wasn't great.

I think Cushenberry is ready, or real close. He has been working hard to be the starter; he knows where he stands and has worked accordingly. Brumfield could be an option if I'm wrong; that would likely depend on Lewis being ready, or Deculus at OG. There's options at least, #1 at center is Cush though.

pretty much sums it up. He can and is getting stronger. He's got a pretty good mean streak too, don't let the over-tight helmet and baby face fool you. He's got a want to destroy people. If he keeps this trajectory, he'll get there.
