What’s the weirdest game on the football schedule this year for you?

For me it’s seeing Florida on Nov 11th. I’ve always liked that it was game 6 of the season for us because it has always kind of been the benchmark for lsu. Far enough into the schedule that all the kinks are worked out and it’s a quality opponent.

Arkansas on September 24th is weird. If they aren’t in the last month of the season I can’t take them as posing a serious threat. Think the timing which we play them has been the issue with them just as much as the game meaning more to them.

Yeah Florida is going to be different! And Arkansas in late September too.
But for me it is ARMY in October because it is an unusual opponent.

Back to back away games with the second one being at Missou, which I could easily see being a noon kickoff, is going to be tricky.

I’m not sure if it classifies as ‘weird’ but the game at Missouri.
Mainly because I’m pretty sure the last time LSU played them it was in Columbia. That was the game Brennan played in.
There was never a return trip for Missouri to play in Baton Rouge.
ETA: Never mind. I forgot about that game being moved because of a hurricane.

Yeah I still find it weird that A&M and Mizzou are in the SEC. Teams like florida st and Clemson seem like they would’ve been better fits

Had Mizzou ever come to death valley? Seems I can only remember us playing them three times I think and all at their stadium. Kind of like Georgia never playing at Texas a&m

That was the first game after Les and Cam were fired, and the offense suddenly looked like a juggernaut.
