They are located in Ruston, La, and their mascot is the Bulldogs.

Lions turned over inside red zone a couple times. 0-3 at half. Split time at qb too. LSU should be able to keep it vanilla and put up 42.

I matriculated at La Tech for one of those undergraduate degrees. In those days, Curley Hallman was coaching LSU while Tech had the superior program. Tech continued some level of moderate football prowess as both an Independent and as a member of the WAC before finding themselves on Wednesday night football and Conf-USA. However, after Sonny Dykes left them with Skip Hoktz, Tech fired him eventually and brought in an even lesser known 12 year old boy named Sonny Cumbie, and they’ve now announced they’re leaving Conf-USA for the Sun Belt. Tech’s program has imploded focusing more on engineering and learning rather than athletics. I viewed the game kinda Saturday on my tablet while I actually watched LSU. In short, they suck. LSU will have no problem with them. Having said that Geaux Tigers and take the spread!

This isn’t last years LSU defense either. Not even close according to Clemson game. If LSUs defense looks like it did against Clemson then I don’t care who La. Tech has at QB. His arse is going to be running for his life.

I watched the highlight for Week 1 so I’m basically an expert.
QB Kukuk is a good athlete and can run.
TE Finely is tall, big and good
LBs Fields and Mason were good
Special teams returner did well last week.
Interesting tidbit - they have another QB named Blake Baker on the team
They had a decent RB but he transferred to Oregon St

I've got kids who have gone to Tech. Almost all of my family are Tech grads if they went to school at all. I was the first LSU grad in our family. Always pulling for Tech when they're not playing my Tigers. And my Tech family are also LSU Tiger fans. It's just ULL who thinks they're above this for some reason.
