Alabama in 2019. I have never seen the gumps make so many mistakes. They were scared of us and it was fun to watch.

When Mike was on the field, we had many more. Read the stories.
My buddy was an O lineman for Indiana and says was the most intimidating thing he experienced when playing LSU.

Geno Smith in TS in 2010. The crowd got to him so bad he lined up under guard after he broke the huddle on one play. The entire crowd went nuts when he did it, and the WVU fans in front of me stuck their fingers in their ears and sat down with their heads down.

The NFL HOF RB, Floyd Little. Sat in the first row of the upper deck about the 40 yard line for the 1965 Sugar Bowl. The Tiger D shut him down. Forced a fumble in the end zone for a safety.
In the third quarter, LSU reserve quarterback Billy Ezell threw a 57-yard touchdown pass to Doug Moreau, and converted for two points on a pass play to tie the game at ten. With under four minutes remaining, Moreau kicked a 28-yard field goal to put LSU ahead, 13–10, which was the final score (Ezell was the MVP).
A great memory!
Great victory indeed!!! My favorite from that era is still the 1966 Cotton Bowl where we stopped the 22 game winning streak of Arky. They were so dominant then and once Brittenum left the game it completely took them out of what they knew best. There is no doubt that Arky was the better team, but the best team doesn’t always win. I think this game was one of the top 3 all time upsets in LSU history. Had we beaten USC in 1979, that would have topped it.

And they think they’ve surpassed LSU in football.

There are some good answers here, but this is the most correct one. You had some Wildcats fearing for their lives out there.

2007 Virginia Tech coming into Tiger Stadium. They were a really good team that year, and at the end of the season a candidate to face Ohio State in the NCG. However, they were completely lost that night in Tiger Stadium. So lost, that even Miss State and Middle Tennessee State put up more of a fight against the Tigers in their games that season.

Chris Leak in 2005 , second half. The game was pretty tight and then all of a sudden Ali Highsmith came alive and Leak was constantly running from him.

(Ezell was the MVP)
I remember that game in the 1965 Sugar Bowl. To me that remains one of the best LSU wins ever, as it was all about offense (Syracuse) and defense (LSU), and for one glorious afternoon in Tulane Stadium, the superlative Tiger defense prevailed. Syracuse had all of ONE meaningful offensive possession the entire game, and that was their first one which led to a field goal. LSU actually out-offensed Syracuse that day, and although I was always extremely critical of Billy Ezell, and frankly, he usually sucked, he actually had a brilliant Sugar Bowl and deserved the MVP!

Can't believe nobody has mentioned Gino Smith at TS in 2010. He lined up behind his guard instead of center near the LSU student section.
