He's not getting fired at the end of next year unless it's a disastrous season like 5-7 or 6-6 with all kinds of visible turmoil amongst the players and coaches. I'm sure there will be some reasoning that the coaching staff would need another season together since there are so many new coaches coming in.

Saban has new coaches every year and it doesn’t seem to bother Bama at all..... if O goes even 7-5 with this talent his seat will be super hot no matter the new coaches are......

Another .500 season i think he is gone. Especially with the talent on the team. Anybody think he is fired after winning 8 games is ignorant as hell.

I think 10-2 is very doable, considering who returns for us and all the changes our opponents are facing.

LSU could very likely be undefeated going into Bama, AGAIN.

2 losses in the 1st 6 games and he is done. That almost guarantees 4+ losses on the schedule. UCLA, Auburn, Miss State, and even Central Michigan is no push over. That will be it for him especially after the Pelini issue!

I think it depends on who the losses are against and how we compete in those losses.

Even if we get to 10 wins and have ugly blow out losses against Bama and UF/Auburn/A&M; you better believe his seat will be hot

LSU will probably be favored in 10 of 12 games. Floor should be 9-3

Any FULLY scheduled season where LSU ends up with a single digit in the win column is coaching malpractice. (Not saying O will be canned for that though).

Before you tards attack, understand we play at a MINIMUM 13 games per year, unless we have a losing record. 4 losses for a program like LSU is too damned much.

PS for the tards- Jimmy Johnson agrees with me. He's said it multiple times in interviews over the years.

How above the over/under on how many times the very question will be started? This one has to be at least 37 times.

LSU should go 4-0 out of conference. The Tigers should be able to handle UCLA as LSU has far more talent.

That means at 9-3 LSU would be 5-3 in the conference. Are you guys okay with that? I'm not. 5-3 means we won't even sniff a chance to win the West.

I think 10-2 is a reasonable expectation. Not saying he would get fired for anything less.

10 wins and a NY6 bowl should always be the expectation at LSU. I get that it won't happen every year, but below ten wins should he few and far between.

8-4 would be 4-0 OOC and 4-4 in the SEC and with a schedule of the West plus Gators and Ky would be unacceptable

8-4

I agree, anything worse is absolutely unacceptable IMHO considering 3 games are gimmie cupcakes. So you have to go at worst 5-4 against the rest of the schedule or you're flat out underachieving and that would be 2 years in a row...so again - anything less that that should not be tolerated.

8-4 gets him fired. He finally has his OC and his DC coming off a .500 year. If he goes 8-4 or 8-5 then that means he probably beats 5 non-conf:

UCLA
McNeese
Central Michigan
ULM
Bowl Game

Then only picks up 3 wins in the SEC:
Auburn
Kentucky
Arky

Which means losses to:
Moo St
UF
Ole Miss
Bama
A&M

Hes not hanging around at 3-5, or 4-4 in the SEC. Sorry Derek

I think a 7-5 season with all these players returning is wholly unacceptable.
It's "Wholly Acceptable" and perfectly fine for all the Pump Nut Lunatic Legion.

7-5 is to them.

Rock bottom standards for these clowns.

It depends on what other coaches are available and who wants to coach here. Someone like Fickle showing real interest could mean a change even after winning 9 games. With a soft schedule and almost everyone returning, O has to win at least 8 games. I think Woodward would have to make a move if this team finishes 6-6 or 7-5. 10 wins and competitive losses probably show that O made some good staff hires and has the program headed in the right direction.
