And piss on Rabalais. It's critical to have a loud student section for both basketball programs, Men and Women. I don't care what they yell. As long as they yell LOUD! and OFTEN!

Look, students are students and you expect them to get a little carried away at times, but STTDB is overly trashy and even worn out at this point.

If another school's fans chanted that at LSU, we'd be calling them hillbilly trash and would want to destroy them from now until the end of eternity.

With all that said, it was a great crowd today and it's nice to see students excited about LSU basketball again.

As a semi old guy (current students would call me old), I like the STTDB chant on occasion but not necessarily every time it can be uttered. In the early 90's when we would score in football (not many scores back then) we would chant HA!HA!HA! Assholes Assholes. And after first downs we would end it with Kick Their arse. Granted these are much tamer than STTDB but what is allowed on TV now compered to then would be R rated for language.

I understand the family aspect and certain language should not be used in front of children. Bitching at the current students is not going to change what they do. They are at their rebellious state and will push back twice as hard at your complaints. You don't like the STTDB chant, fine. Come up with a better more creative (clean) way to covey the same message or something close to the same and find a way for the students to chant that. Be proactive instead of bitching with no solutions. Rant off.
