Agreed 100%. Some of our fans are spoiled. They have no clue and I can't imagine how they would handle true struggles at some institutions; ie, Ole Miss, etc, etc.

It is great to be an LSU fan and I for one believe our future is very promising. Hell, our last several years have been great. We can't win them all, but most important for me is that LSU is respected and can compete every year for championships and major bowl appearances.

LSU, at least over the last 7-10 years,... IS college football. Enjoy that. And get ready to win the whole thing again in 2012.
I like your perspective. I'm trying to get there, but I don't like kool-aid all that much... choke.

is the LSU coaching staff really dumb based on the BCS 2012, apparently.

The loss sucked, but anyone using the BCSCG loss as some sort of "negative" mark on Miles or LSU or anything associated with LSU has lost their mind.

Totally agree we should be able to accept a loss generally, totally disagree we should accept THE WAY THIS LOSS HAPPENED!!!

I wasn't all fired up over those reasons either, but I'm also not going to beat the horse until it turns to dust. Either get some therapy or never pay for another ticket again and don't watch any more games

Well maybe we are getting our therapy by beating on your opinion in this situation.

This way I will be ready to watch some games again by next fall. Venting is healthy, eventually it will be gone

We got thumped in the championship game to Saban and didnt even score a single point or cross the 50 yard line until 700 to go in the 4th...pretty pathetic and embarassing on national TV to a team that had so much promise to be the greatest ever. Now we are the laughing stock of the entire country because of that game no one cares about 13-0.

I can't speak on behalf of the "rest of the country" but can speak for SW Alabama. Rest assured, LSU's not the laughing stock you make them out to be. Quite the contrary. Most Bama fans, including myself, are quite complimentary towards LSU and respect them and their traditions. I can't speak for the arsehole Bama fan but I can for the millions of good Bama out there. But I am also an LSU fan and I disagree with the "laughing stock" comment and expect most good LSU fans feel the same way than not. IMHO of course :)

Geez, all LSU has to do to take back our respect for you is to win a NC, huh.

First of all I didn't say that. All LSU has to do is beat the hell out Bama next season.

Second, do you just like to start arguments with other Tiger fans or something? Taking my words out of context and slapping your own interpretation on them just so you can take offence to it is a bit of a stretch man.

LSU football has been so successful and dominant the last 10 years, there's really no "pumping" necessary.

The facts pretty much speak for themselves.

4 SEC titles, 2 BCS titles, 3 BCSCG appearances, 8 bowl wins, winningest program in the SEC since 2005 (and 2000).

The only thing that sucks is Alabama has now reached our level and will continue to be a thorn in our side (as we are in theirs) ... LSU and Bama are clearly the two best football programs in the country and will continue to be for a while. Oh well, it was getting lonely up top, so it's nice to have someone to battle it out with for #1 every year.

There's no doubt we've been on a nice run lately. I think the whole QB situation over the past 4 years has soured everyone's milk, year after year, and Miles just kept grinding away with the same sorry shite year after year. Now that the QB may be resolved, things should start clearing up.

We just gotta keep spitting until we get the bad taste out of our mouths. It may take a few more months.

I'm sorry but people saying we're THE favorite to win it in 2012 don't know shite about football.

We may well be in the running but the whole "favorite" thing is just ignorance.

It takes some luck to win the title, no doubt (injuries, breaks, chemistry, schedule, etc), but the defending SEC champion that is returning basically the whole team minus a WR and CB and plus a throwing QB and faces a more-than-manageable schedule is definitely the favorite to win it all in 2012. There's a reason LSU will be the consensus #1 to start 2012.

And FWIW, LSU as the "favorite" to win it all in 2012 is a statement of fact. If you don't believe me, fly on over to Vegas and check the odds.
