When you start threads like this, it makes it worse. More threads like these = more debates and bitching.

You got no therapy from me. Personally, I don't think you can be cured, Mr. 40 Posts.

Obviously no one enjoyed watching that game, whether there or on TV. Everyone is frustrated, but just how long are you going to question Les about this game? Forever?

Its gonna be awhile.

I am with the OP 100%.

We just had arguably the greatest regular season in LSU history.

We were #1 wire-to-wire.... until Jan 9th of course.

We dominated rivals Florida and Auburn, and crushed Ole Miss ....

and remember how pissed Petrino was at the end of that game? That was awesome.

Do some of you remember how well we played against Oregon in the season opener? 2 weeks after a bar fight?

I'm just saying, we were "all world" until January 9th.

It was one bad, turrible game.

Get over it!

100% agree.

Yeah, that's what I figured. More idiocy by yet another quality fan. You finish junior high, this year?

I'll just never understand our fan base. People say the negatigers only represents a small portion of us, but I tend to see the more and more. Are they becoming more of a vocal majority, or are they just louder?

Look I will leave along after this. I think I have been watching LSU football longer than you have been alive. I am no expert but you have to feel for those players that put so much into last season for it to end like that. I know LSU has enjoyed several years of good football success. We will see this year if a new quarterback will make a difference in 2013.

Maybe, but based on your posts, other than this one, you don't sound old enough to exceed my years of watching, but since I'm a woman, I'm not getting into age.

Of course, I agree with you. I feel for them, the other coaches and the fans. Everyone put a lot into the season and the ending was a shocker. No question about it, but it was the ending of a very fine season. A difficult ending to accept, but beating it until it's dead ain't helping those players for whom you feel so much. They don't want to hear the fans reliving this ad nauseum. They want to move on and so should we. Live and learn.

We'll see, but a new qb, alone, is not going to give us another winning season like the one we had. It will take the entire team and coaching staff to do that and if they start it still feeling all beat up by the fans and lingering over the tragedy of 1/9, it ain't happenin'. Attitude and momentum are another necessary element and they have no choice but to start with a positive attitude. As a fan, I plan on cheering them on regardless of whether I like the answers I got for that game. I'm looking for a great spring practice and spring game for this great team we have to move forward as stoked as they were for the start of last season, minus bar fights etc...

That's the LSU Fighting Tigers spirit! Great positive spin on things - and everything was factual! I love it!

In reality I think the entire nation (LSU fans included) was simply shocked to see us go down w/o a fight against 'Bama.

Look for the LSU vs ALA game in Tiger stadium for 2012 to have an entirely different atmosphere and attitude - and result more to our liking.

Yes we got embarrassed on a national stage but I don't see this happening again any time soon. Things will return to normal this season. Geaux Tigers!

The loss sucked, but anyone using the BCSCG loss as some sort of "negative" mark on Miles or LSU or anything associated with LSU has lost their mind.

Yes, you tell 'em. That 21-0, first blowout in BCS bowl history, waste of a perfect season, Lee didn't see the field, recruitment hurting, respect losing loss in the biggest game of the year was a "positive".

Maybe the people saying "get over it" need to get over it. It was horrible and will always be remembered as such.

That being said we win it all next season with Mett, take back our respect, and embarrass Saban and Bama to top it off.

Geez, all LSU has to do to take back our respect for you is to win a NC, huh.

Some of this stuff is just too funny.

We will see how much repect for LSU football was ever loss when the preseason polls come out. I'm just guessing here, but I'm thinking those coaches/sports writes polls are gonna show a whole hell of a lot of respect for LSU football.
