2001 freshman in high school was when I really started watching every game but after my first game in 2006 vs tylane I really started learned the history of school stadium etc, this was also year I learned about tigerdroppings so that helped as well.

When I was a freshman at LSU in '97. I followed college football and watched a few LSU games but wouldn't consider myself a "fan" before then (Not from LA)

6th or 7th grade I knew almost every player. Before that I watched every game but only knew the big players

1985
LSU was one of the laughing stocks of college football from 1989 to 1994.
14-31 in the SEC, no rankings, and no bowls.
That's what GN walked into.
And people want to pretend Saban walked into a mess.

1954 (Yes, I was born in the 40's)... Used to go to the games with my dad and have always bled purple and gold. The years of Jim Taylor, Paul Dietzel, Warren Rabb, etc... will live forever in my mind and blood.......

People talk about Les being stubborn but I have never seen a coach stubbornly torpedo his career like DiNardo did with Lou Tepper.

Was born in 65, started "understanding" what it meant to be an LSU fan in 1970!!!

97 Florida game. I was there. 98 and 99 were tough and to be honest, my interest tailed off a bit. Graduated in 00 and watched the TN upset that year. Haven't looked back since.

1993 as an LSU Freshman. I endured many Curly Hallman games in person.

mid 80's, I use to pretend I was Oscar Joiner, and Eddie Fuller. I grew up with their little brothers.

LSU vs Rice 1995 as an 8 year old. Was my first of many, many LSU games with my dad. We stayed until the very last second of a 52-7 LSU win, and I've been hooked ever since. Of all the great moments I've had through LSU football, as a kid and later a student, this one I will remember forever.
